Boots Here
Rhythmic breathing pushes you forward as the scenery glides past. You have a long way to go, but concentration is on your side. But, your brand new boots are hurting your feet. You should have left them in the car. You`ve got other boots with you, but the new boots are too heavy to carry and the scenery is too sparse to hide them. How can you ensure that if you leave them you won`t lose them?
Answer
Leave the boots far apart. Nobody will pick up a single boot.

| Once again a Jimbo comment cracks me up. Oh, and you can keep the boots you borrowed. |

| Until somebody walks by and notices both similar boots, though far apart... |

| Hmm.. you don't live in my country.. if you leave your boots lying about if you are hiking they may be eaten by parrots...
And people will take anything not nailed down around here... not to keep - just to vandalise.. or the nice ones will put them in a rubbish bin for you O_o |

| So your new boots are too heavy to carry but not run in? And you're carrying your old boots with you. I woulda taken the laces from the boots or something.. or bury them. |
