Eliza Pseudonym and the Daily Word
During a six-day period from Monday through Saturday, Eliza Pseudonym and her friends Anna, Barbra, Carla, Delilah, and Fiona have subscribed to an internet mailing list that features a new word every day. No two women subscribed on the same day. On each day during the six-day period, a different word has been featured (abulia, betise, caryatid, dehisce, euhemerism, and floruit, in some order). From the clues below, determine the day on which each woman subscribed, and the day on which each word was featured.
1. Exactly one of the women has a name beginning with the same letter of the alphabet as the word featured on the day that she subscribed to the mailing list.
2. The word "caryatid" was featured precisely two days prior to Fiona joining the mailing list.
3. Carla joined the mailing list on Friday.
4. Anna signed up for the mailing list precisely one day after the word "euhemerism" was highlighted.
5. Wednesday's word did not end with the letter "e".
6. Barbra subscribed precisely three days after the word "dehisce" was featured.

Nice! I got it, and it was nice having to think about instead of just eliminating until the answer was there.
Thank you! I believe that the way clue 1 is used gives this puzzle a unique and memorable flavor.
Unfortunately, there are several possible answers, thus making it impossible to specify what days the women joined or the word were featured.
I came up with four solutions, including the given one, before stopping. The three other solutions I found were:
Mon: Eliza, dehisce
Tue: Fiona, euhemerism
Wed: Anna, abulia
Thu: Barbara, caratid
Fri: Carla, betise
Sat: Delilah, floruit
Mon: Eliza, dehisce
Tue: Fiona, euhemerism
Wed: Anna, abulia
Thu: Barbara, caratid
Fri: Carla, floruit
Sat: Delilah, betise
Mon: Delilah, dehisce
Tue: Fiona, betise
Wed: Eliza, abulia
Thu: Barbara, caratid
Fri: Carla, euhemerism
Sat: Anna, floruit
I suspect there may be even more solutions.
When I read the puzzle and read the 6 simple conditions it suggested this was an extremely elegant puzzle. Too bad it isn't.

I would highly recommend reading clue 2 correctly, sir. "The word 'caryatid' was featured precisely two days prior to Fiona joining the mailing list" means that "caryatid" was featured BEFORE Fiona joined. In your proposed additional solutions, "caryatid" is featured AFTER Fiona joined.
The proposed solution is unique, and the puzzle is, in fact, elegant.

Well, at least I consistently had it two days after she joined.
I checked my answers against the conditions a couple of times to make sure I wasn't missing something, but I was checking against the relationships I used to "solve" the problem, not against the ones written in the puzzle.
So it is indeed an elegant puzzle as I had first anticipated!

Wonderful puzzle! I was at first looking for the logic grid to solve it, and then I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't provided, and I had to use good, old-fashioned logic. Great puzzle.
