A Lost Tennis Ball
One day when I was playing lawn tennis in my back yard my tennis ball fell down a gopher hole. The hole was too deep to reach into and there was a bend in the middle so you couldn`t use a stick. How did I get the ball out without digging up my lawn?
Hint
It was a tennis ball and tennis balls have air in them.Answer
Get a hose and squirt water down the hole. The tennis ball will float to the top.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

"logically" the solution is plausible however, in reality, have you ever tried to fill a Gopher hole with water? Being from Ne. I tried many times and never filled one nor drowned one out.
Poor gophers...
Caddyshack!
Pee in it.
what about a vacuum hose and suck it back?
im with u jonny
I first thought about a vacuum, then I read the hint and figured to fill it up with water. It was good though. And I agree, poor gophers!

wouldnt the ball be ruined? i liked it
i bet the gopher wouldnt like it
In California that would be a lot of water wasted to no probable effect. I think I would wait a day and let the gophers push the unwanted ball back out (I hope). Ever watch Meerkat Manor?
I didn't get it.
i am very upset with your teaser because it is harmful to other animals
Cool question. But it the hint practically gave the answer away. I also initially thought about a vacuum hose.
