I'm not new exactly. I used to have a different account, but it's been at least a year since I was active with it.
I figured I'd make a new one in case I ever wanted to be active again, and also because the community here seems to have changed drastically since I left.

You're welcome to guess, but I'm not sure I'll tell you, even if you're right.
If I wanted to be the person I was before, I would just use that account. (Assuming, of course, I'm able to figure out my old password...)
But if you figure it out within your first few attempts, it's likely I'll confirm it privately, so long as you keep it to yourself.
However. You can remind me, if you don't mind, of how to set up a personal message and signature.
I think these were features that were unlocked after a certain length of time, but I can't find anything about them in the FAQ, so...

I never understood why it wasn't in the FAQ...
You have to be a member for 2 weeks and have 50 points before you can have a signature and profile message (I believe this also applies to wikis). I always recommend the Braingle IQ test to reach the point requirement quickly.
My guess is your former username started with an 's', and red was definitely not your color.
