OPS! I made the Clearing Clue ahead of time. And wouldn't you know my randomizer chose a player that got fired. I'm going to make a new clue - be back in a bit. Why don't you see if you can figure out how the clue points to Freak!

Excellent job! Yes, you are entirely correct, the cute squirrel on the welcome mat is the connection! Talanpoe now has immunity from being optionally fired this round. But you must vote!

I think I'm going to cast in a vote for mom2boys this round, she seems suspicious and we might as well keep clearing people if not.
I googled the quote's translation but the only thing that comes up immediately is something about the kinetic theory of matter. lol! It sounds familiar though...like a quote I may have heard before? Maybe it's just common mumblejumbleee then again. (or maybenot...haha)
It also sounds like the boss may be just screwing with our heads. It's like a bad movie. "YOU KNOW NOTHINGGGGG. Mwahahahaha" Or something stupid like that.
EDITT: the only thingg I can attatch to the sentances under the picture in the link that talanpoe posted is to clear talanpoe. but he's already cleared, so I'm guessing that's not it haha.
Edit againn..: I've scoped out everyone's pages looking for 612, and so far nogo. It doesn't have anything to do with anyones join date, birthday, or scores. BTW Logrog...how did you solve a sudoku in under 5 minutes? Hollyyy smokes man. and Chunny I saw Katy Perry and Paramore in concert before and they were both AMAZING.

Missed that part. The third sentence under the picture reads score :1334 --> Did you notice the blue jeans, blue shirt and blue collar?.
(emphasis added). My score on Braingle is 1334. I'm actually thinking this *does* point to me (despite the fact that I'm already cleared, so it doesn't really help us much).

You have indeed solved a clue. Talanpoe's name came up in the randomizer. Tossing his name just because he was already clearedish seemed to be employee sided. Neutrality is what it's all about, so I just made the clue easier so that you wouldn't have to work too hard at solving what was merely confirmation. I hope that everyone understands my decision.

Oh wow...so I DID kind of solve it...except that I was thinking a lot of the sentances had like birds in them and isn't a Talan like a bird claw? Lol. Alright, seeing as that doesn't move us forward at all, I'm voting Mom2boys this round. =] ALSO, I think the quote refers to the JFK quote "you know nothing for sure except that you know nothing for sure." and maybe it just got lost in translation? That could possibly clear out Chunnie, since I don't think someone who's not American would use a JFK quote...and mom2booys doesn't have a country listed I don't think. Nonetheless, I'm still voting mom, but that might be something to consider.

Well, that at least explains why it was so much easier to solve than your other clues. (It had occurred to me how much like a Rat I was looking here, since the only clue I've had any luck with was easier by design. And a clue where I knew the answer already.)
Ah, now I understand what you are talking about. If it had been for me, I have no clue what my overall score is, it changes daily, so I'd never have figured that out. Oh, well...
Anyhow, who is the boss? I'm going to vote brainyboy for now and work on that Rat clue some more.

Toward the end of that round, somebody suggested that the hidden "ture" in the 2nd clue anagrams to "true" and that "true rat" was another name for the brown rat. Using that as a keyword, it deciphers to "ennshu v fqbebk"; and the anagram engine at wordsmith.org can't find any anagrams for that at all. I'm thinking it's a dead end.
On another front, the grouping of letters in cab's original clue is 6-1-6. With the letters in "boothe v frabal", the only one-letter english word is "a"; if you take that out and look for two six-letter words using the remaining letters (abbefhloortv), wordsmith.org can't find any solutions. So is the 6-1-6 grouping random, or is it significant?
Since I have a by for this round, I'll join whatever majority forms.

Been working on it too. Toward the end of that round, somebody suggested that the hidden "ture" in the 2nd clue anagrams to "true" and that "true rat" was another name for the brown rat. It was me who noted that 'ture' was an anagram for 'true'. According to the website that Cabaret's photo came from, true rat is the common term for the genus rattus which inclues both the brown and black rat. We had already tried rattus as a key word which is why I didn't think this added too much to the knowledge base.
I also noticed, that if you take the 'v' out of 'boothe v frabal', the resulting 'boothe frabal' has the same number of letters and letter distribution as 'logicalroger'. But of course our code does include the extra 'v' which is why I didn't originally mention it.
I've got my vote in for Chunnie unless I see something that makes me change my mind.

Hmm. I think Mom2boys has been acting pretty oddly throughout the game, jumping on one lead after another and with about as much justification and as much intensity. I would vote for her this round, yet as Chunnie said that seems too obvious. Things aren't always so complex, of course.
It's somewhat curious that I'm still in the game. Usually I'd be offed by now. Of course, I have been pretty careful and there are still and have been plenty of good targets besides myself. Still, it gives me certain ideas about the boss. Another possible indication is that the boss might be keeping me around to act as a scapegoat for themselves. I see that Chunnie has voted me the entire game to little point (I would think he'd be for a majority against me if he felt that passionate about me being boss) thus this might be plausible, albeit a bit obvious in itself. I'll tentatively put in a vote for Chunnie, which unfortunately gives him two votes and a majority, but if Mom2boys is indeed boss it will only be one. If Chunnie is the rat for Mom, then I'll be the first to agree that I'm an idiot who fell into the trap.
We should try and get another majority. Will I be up in time? Doubtful. But feel free to join he majority for Chunnie. Otherwise, create a majority on someone likely. Anything besides another mostly useless MoO round.
I feel like a dunce with these clues.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

Naturally, there's no clearing majority in a round where I'm safe, and nowhere for me to cast a vote that would extract any info to speak of. I'd love to clear somebody this round, but we need 4 declared votes to do that. I'll join the 2 votes currently in place for chunnie and invite others to make that a majority.
talanpoe, I think you should get out of this majority. You're more valuable to have around than me, especially since I haven't been able to be as active as I usually am. I'll change my vote to myself for the time being to ensure that there is a clear majority. With 7 hours left, I hope two people will change their votes to me so that I can change mine away from myself and not be fired. But if that doesn't happen, I have no problem staying in the majority.

Because I solved the freakshow clue, I have "optional firing" immunity this round. (See the 3rd posting in this round.) As long as I vote for somebody, I'm safe unless Boss breaks the rules. I'll change my vote to myself for the time being to ensure that there is a clear majority. With 7 hours left, I hope two people will change their votes to me so that I can change mine away from myself and not be fired. But if that doesn't happen, I have no problem staying in the majority.
Voting for yourself doesn't help because Boss doesn't actually have a vote to cast. (With 7 players, we need 4 declared votes for somebody to clear them; but the candidate's own vote can't be counted.) So if you have a vote and you cast it for yourself, you only make yourself a lemming. Looks fairly moot anyway given that we're still short a vote to clear you.

I think you missed the point of me voting myself. I forgot that talanpoe had immunity, and I was just trying to ensure we have a majority and talanpoe (a known clear) is not risked.
Since talanpoe cannot be fired (as an optional) this round, I'll change my vote back to LR.

True, but the point still stands that a majority candidate cannot help get a definite majority, as Tal has pointed out.

I would also remind everybody that Bobbi has also been cleared (by R3 firings).
