Welcome to Round 6!
A Murderous Tale . . . . .
Thank goodness for lawyers. I got away with all the previous murderings again! Mwahaha. Well I was found guilty but I bailed out and am on parole but is that going to stop me? No it's not. I ran away from where I did the murderings before and I'm somewhere else now and under a false name. No one should be able to find me. Question for you guys to figure out is who am I and who is going to be the first killed? Now I need to find my accomplice seeing as I need to find out where she went to. Hopefully I can avoid detection from the detectives looking for me.
I would've killed three, but I decide to kill only two. I stumbled across those two detectives when I was shopping, seemed like they were spying on me. I only hope one wasn't my accomplice, guess will find out soon. I think I have it figured out who it is, but I can't be sure, really. Watch were you are from now on, I may be anywhere you detectives are.
Well, looks like the detectives have lost three more of their force. Even StewieGriffen who's main purpose is murder. Irony much? I really haven't had much time lately to see what the other defectiveness have been up to, seeing as I was planing these night murderings, and it's bad they were killed on the first night of fall, so they get to miss the pretty leaves coloring. Well, look at the time, I'm going to be busy tommrow, so there may not be any murderings tommrow. Many family things to do in one day. Just keep being on the lookout for me.
Looks like Jayo, Kajish, Vanderbus got scared of my threats and ran off. While not the first time it happened though, everyone gets scared of me. I think I'm lucky so far, that I haven't been found yet. Hmm, good thing I didn't have to kill anyone today, seeing as three ran away. But remember next time those who got away with it, wont be so lucky, accept for my accomplice.
Well, looks like Softball and chunnie were killed during the night for the Detectives. Means 10 are gone and only a few more are left before I do get away with it. -insert evil laugh here- I wonder if I can actually avoid detection this time around. As usual detectives, be careful where you go, cause I may be lurking there.
Well another ran away, just a day after her sister gets killed. I'm surprised you guys haven'tn found me yet, which I find I am lucky. My acomplice is gone, or is she/he? Who knows, as usally my warning stays the same. I'm everywhere and nowhere. Will you guys catch me or will I get away?
Prompt: MUSIC
Well music. I used to play the flute in band, but I had to quite cause it was to hard for me to do schoolwork and have that to practice for it. I love to listen to it, it seems to settle me down when I'm angry and I love church music though and anything that comes on the raido. The one song I like right now is Lean on me, by Bill Withers.

Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

Locking in my vote for Days. I do hope I'm not alone again this round. And Randy, I played the violin for 9 years in school (many, many moons ago) not the flute.

Well - I will put in a vote for RGW, just a flip of the coin it's you or Days. Lean on me is an old song, so I don't think any of us can claim to never of heard it. I listen to my daughter play Violin and wish I would have took music, but alas it was not to be. I think RGW hanging his hat on the book report thing just makes it seem you put it in as a big stick for us to fetch.
Only hope I'm right about it...

I'll also be puting a vote for RGW. I think one of you three left are murder, but I don't know for sure yet. I have to agree with MGH though.
Just curious, Randy did you play the flute? How about you MGH?

For me I never palyed the flute in band. I don't even remember my school having a band.
Okay, that's one of you, and understand I can't know whether to believe you or not since you can lie here, just not in the memos or prompts.

Locked in my vote for Days... confirmed before I even came in here. Bradon, trust me, you have made the right decision, I would never tell you that directly if it wasn't true. I think you know me well enough to know that I would be very creative in telling you to trust me without being "frank".
I played the clarinet in junior high band, did not play it past the 8th grade. I think if I was to pick one up today, the only thing I could play from memory is America the Beautiful. I don't remember any guys playing the flute in band back then... most liked the trumpet or other horned instruments (or drums). I am sure there were some though. Now, I only play the guitar.
My daughter played the clarinet also in school and my son played the sax. They both still have theirs... I am not sure where my clarinet went to. It's too bad because it was all wood (today most are plastic).
So really Days, were you good at the flute?

Sorry for the double post, but at this point, I prefer not to "taint" a comment with an edit... machinegun, I was not hanging my hat on a book review... I was hanging it on the fact that I don't read books...period.

As I said, I never played an instrument in band, or anything. Even if I did, I don't remember it. RGW4 no one was cleared last round, seeing by the murder's story told us(I think) Fleetwood was mandatory. I'm thinking you are trying to frame me, when I'm not the murder and you are. Isn't that what a boss supposed to do, frame someone else?
I'm staying with Days, but I do remember that there was one guy who played the flute in the band, and he also played with us in the orchestra way back in the olden days when I was in school.

Days, bradon was cleared whether fleetwood was fired by a mandatory firing or otherwise... there were 3 people who voted for bradon (supposedly). The game did not end in her being caught as boss. Now how could that be? Were there not enough votes cast against her? It was the main reason that I left my vote on her at the last minute. Had fleetwood come back before the round ended and stated a vote (I suspect on bradon), I would have joined bradon's vote on you then. But I had to make that count of 3 votes mean the majority was on her, and I will explain why in a couple paragraphs. I felt fairly certain that Fleetwood was going to be fired (either by choice or a mandatory firing)
At this point in the game, I feel fairly confident that the boss and the rat are either still with us... or that the rat was JUST fired (meaning fleetwood). However, fleetwood's final statement makes me think she was a detective.
Now you may be thinking, how is firing someone that was inactive (fleetwood) still clear someone who had no one fired that were voting for them.
Out of the 5 of us left at the start of last round, at least 3 votes would count, maybe 4. There were 3 votes on bradon, out of 5... a majority of all available players anyway...if she was the boss, even if one of those votes was from the rat, she would have had 2 votes out of 3 and that majority fires her as boss. The game would have ended before this round started. So, some of the votes did not count, meaning the boss is one of the 3 that voted for bradon. If you want to say that there were 4 votes available because you think the rat was gone before last round, then getting only 2 votes would not have been a majority... but wait, she got 3 votes. If the rat was gone, then the 3 who voted for her all would have had to of been detectives for her to be fired as boss. She wasn't fired because she wasn't the boss. It really is simple math at this point. I stayed with my vote for her to make sure she was cleared beyond all questionings.
I suspect you understand this, but because you are on the verge of being caught, you are trying to sway the facts.
Now we all know that MGH was cleared before (if he wasn't there really was a conspiracy of lies going on by the detectives who were fired, which would make me stop playing this game), and with bradon being cleared, that only leaves two people not cleared... you and I.
I am really not trying to convince you that I am not the boss, because I know I am not the boss and there is no one else on that short list. MGH could be a detective or the rat... I really am not 100% sure, but I tend to think he IS the rat. He never has put you in the spot light, he has never even hinted that you are the boss, other than the toss of the coin (oh yeah... even MGH knows bradon has been cleared).
Could bradon be the rat? It is only possible if MGH or I am the boss... in my opinion. I know I am a detective, and I know MGH & Fleetwood were cleared, so this left only you. If she was your rat, she would have voted for me and not put a finger on you. So, based on her voting for you last round, I have her pegged as a detective (yes, I actually believed her sport story last round because I recall her talking about her back condition before)

That post of mine took over 20 minutes to type... I must be getting slower. I posted it and saw I had a watched topic to look at which stated 20 minutes ago.
Yeah, the round MGH was cleared, softball and chunnie had voted for him and they were both fired. Like I said in my short story, if they didn't vote for him, we sure have a conspiracy going on
I think we be a swimming in 17 1/2 hours!

Sorry I just got back on - I did play the flute in 5th grade, learned Mary had a little lamb, and not the better version. My dad still plays (he's in his 70's). I wish I would have kept it up. My eldest daughter plays violin and enjoys it. I told her orchestra teacher that they needed a way to play during basketball games (maybe volleyball) and tennis!!) OK way off subject.
RGW I come back to you just because you seem smart enough to start throwing us off early. Now if Bradon didn't get a clear then we still have 3 viable players that could be boss - considering that Softball was fired after voting for me and you can't be fired for voting for the boss. I voted Bradon last time, I'll vote you this time, and IF I survive at this point in the game and you vote Days and get fired then I will KNOW you're the boss.
And i always like a good conspiracy theory

If you survive and I get fired, you will KNOW I was the boss? Well of course - that would be the scenerio in the way you are voting if I was the boss.
Anyway, that was not what I really wanted to comment on... I think the type of flute you were talking about is the recorder which is usually wood or plastic... I think a lot of kids learn to play this in elementary school. It is about a foot long with 6-8 holes and it goes in front of you? Or did you play the flute that is made of metal and you play it by holding the thing up at a right angle to the ground and over your right shoulder?
And... its okay to go off topic at this point... we are basically just waiting out the time now.

No I used my dads flute - metal 3 pieces. I didn't know what a recorder was until my eldest was in 5th grade and had to get one for school. Very good instrument to use to learn how to read music, a nice soft sound. I get impressed with the kids that can play Flute and Piccolo - switching between songs. I've told my eldest to learn the Viola (a little bigger violin) and then Cello and Bass (she wants to be a music teacher.)
Yeah I didn't think the post out right - I sort of know what I mean
Here's to the boss... May the door hit you on the way out.

I loved the clarinet, but I just could not get the high notes ... I think I blew too hard and didn't have my lips puckered around the reed right. Its been so long since I really played it, I forget exactly what I did wrong. When my daughter took it up (all on her own without me suggesting she try it)... I even bought an extra mouth piece and extra reeds so I could play hers without her going "euuuuhhh". I think I played it twice and just felt I would almost have to start over to remember all the notes, and I didn't have the time.
Oh well, so much for the walk back in time to the horn instrument days of yesteryear.

Hmm, I just noticed Fleetwood spoke from the grave. But seeing as she ran away in the murder's story, (I think) that means mandatory. So no one was clear. I believe this late in the game, boss can only fire one person and seeing as it seems Fleetwood was mandatory, no one is cleared. Anyway MGH just said he played flute, and I never did, so I'm switching my vote to him.
