Round 1

Monday, 7th September, 2021
7: 00AM

The city is already alive and bustling as the daily commute begins. Among the population, a group of 13 regular citizens also begin their day. Although they're watching. Watching very closely for signs of Custardian activity. A day of activity begins...what will you do?

Urgent: I currently still need a role from caberet.

Shop will be posted soon.

Characters:

Good luck!

Locking in a friendly vote for Ser Jayo as I start my night shift. I hate driving this darn thing

Sitting in my office overlooking the city centre, I am going over my notes on each of the inhabitants. Looking closely, it appears that the most likely candidate would be Koin.

Be sure to follow you dreams; otherwise you'll end up working for someone who had the guts to follow his.

Hmm. I ponder the situation while I sit, staring at my Alienware laptop. After doing some research I decide to start a database program, containing info on each suspect. For now I decide to put in an early vote for shrutibax.

6:38AM: I arrive at the Reverend's house after an emergency call of him having a stroke. It appears he was just watching a Ron Paul speech and got a little too excited. Everything seems fine now....back to the ambulance.

I'm glad my friend J-B is back in town, maybe I'll give him a call when I'm off duty

I know it's early, but the right secret knock will gain entry for those looking to quench the early thirst...Jayo's bar is open for business!

*Peers at the door, wondering who the first to walk in will be*

As for acting strangely...I'll wait and see who doesn't quite 'sit' right at my bar perhaps or maybe as I'm out on my luch break, who knows?

Today is the 12th of April.

Hm.

Also, *Apologize

EDIT I: Fish for Putter.

Hiya everyone. Glad we've started.

I've locked in a fish vote for Innovative.

How about if I'm the friendly barkeeper?

I woke up, looking forward towards another day of selling knock ... er, I mean antiques. Whoever the new mayor is, I'm sure he or she won't be nice to us. I'd better avoid being banished by him or her, and I'll vote for koin, hoping we'll get a majority on somebody.

After waking up and taking my meal and stuff, I walk towards my shop to open up business for the day. As my first customer the waitress comes over for a pound of meat for the restaurant, I just have a small chat about the recent ongoing political activity. While chopping up the meat, i tell her between the blows that the most probably candidate right now would be the lawyer. Might as well vote him down before I close up my business later on in the evening. Nothing else interesting happens in my day so far. Would like to have a chat with the likes of Harry and Har before the day ends, though. They are always so entertaining.

Cab, I think Jayo might've chosen that I've seen too many incidents of guys being knocked out in his bar from the various fights there, and alcoholism. Though that's just what you expect when you put a bunch of Irishmen together

I have to collect some information from the local people and do some interviews. Maybe my article won't be quite so convincing with so little background info. A stab in the dark will have to go for buu. I think the timings of this round will mean that my newspaper voting table won't be able to be published this round.

Today I woke up, got into my taxi, and started driving to get some coffee. Unfortunately, the psychiatrist waved for me, and I pulled over.

"The City Cafe," she exclaimed, obviously tired.
She just freaks me out. She is kind of creepy, how she meets with people about their mental disorder. She didn't talk to me on the ride, and when she got out, she quickly gave me a ten dollar bill, 2 dollars over the fee. The psychiatrist didn't wait for change, and quickly ran into the cafe.
Her actions make me suspicious, and I think she might be a Custardian.
Edit: The answer to the psych question wouldn't be true if HABS was the boss, because in Who's the daddy, she was busy on Easter. I will change my vote to Jayo.

Here ya go boyo! Enjoy

*Polishing glasses he just about catches a glimpse of someone lurking outside the door, but they dash away as Jayo's eyes fall on them. Interesting, I think it was that journalist, probably sniffing around for info about the brawl that broke out last night. Both the Bruins and the Celtics lost so it was only a matter of time before something kicked off...Jeminy, what was he doing outside the pub?*

Vote is on Jeminy for now

Oh come on, bars are so boring. We could go to the movie theater... or the STORE? Yeah, how about the store? I hear they have great prices on quality materials. Just from what I've been told, of course...

Fish for bababa.

Fantastic, it's my first day on the job and already my boss is sending me on errands. I went to buu's butcher shop to get meat for the restaurant, and as always, the recent political activity is all we can talk about. He tells me the lawyer is the most likely candidate, but to be honest I have no idea. I decide I ought to keep a closer eye on caberet for now, though I hope I'll be able to observe more people coming into the restaurant soon.

Vote on caberet for now

Dear Diary,

I was in my apartment today, I looked out of the window a bit... there were a lot of people outside. I quickly moved away from the window and set about eating my breakfast and ordering more food online. Like I've said in previous entries, I don't like the grocery store. Well, I suppose that means I'll vote for koin_era.

I'm joining the majority on koin because har is going to be a mandi and will give some protection.

If one or more of me, JQ, habs, or baba dies, he is likely in the clear. Risking my life. Paramedic style

If you want my professional WTB opinion on the memo: The boss sounds like a female aged 12-19. In fact, the baba sounds like the boss.

It would be great to catch up in our spare time Sir Putter. I guess I'm paying for the meal though Well so far no one looks really suspicious so I'll just keep my vote where it is and see what happens.

Hm.... nobody seems to want to buy my cheap f ... er my incredibly expensive Xia Dynasty artefacts stolen, I mean borrowed, from Sanxingdui today. I suppose I'll have to find something to do. I know! I can hack into J-Boy's database! Then I'll steal all his data and claim I'm just 'testing' him.

No I'm really not. That's what I called Harry at one stage quite a while ago.

EDIT: not sure if JQ's reference to hacking is him trying to tell the boss he is the rat but I think we should keep a close eye on him.

I didn't notice that connection until you pointed it out. It really isn't a reference ... I just thought it would be amusing to say that. BTW, what DBMS are you using?
