This is really weird. Why is the boss only firing one person a round? I've never seen this happen before.
Either way, JQPublic is now cleared as mocha voted for him and was then fired. So that's good, at least.

Yes, I don't understand why there was no question or no answer to the question?
Thekid4 - can you please confirm what happened there? Did you not send a question? or Did the boss not answer your question and you started the round anyways? If you did have a question for the boss - could you post it in the first post please.
So, coolmaths wasn't mandatory fired, which means either she voted (and didn't tell us which is a little silly to do because it doesnt help us at all) or she is possibly the rat. PS - coolmaths, if you DID vote, you won't be able to reveal it now as this is a new round and it's against the rules. When you vote this round, please say who you are voting for so we don't accidentally put you in a majority vote and get you fired.
Great that we have JQPublic cleared. Sorry to see mocha go!! I didn't expect that to be honest. I still can't work out the rat clue. VERY HARD

The other advantage of Majority of Two is that: provided coolmaths did not vote for JQPublic, Kaipper will also be cleared. The only way mocha could have been fired is if she was a lemming, or the rat who forgot to do their job. It is HIGHLY unlikely mocha would forget to hack the network if she were rat. So I would say that it is more likely that Kaipper is clear. However, with the volatile nature of coolmaths, I will only clear Kaipper at 95%, a small chance of sneaky boss getting a lucky break.
At this stage, I will vote for Limerick. But I may need to change my vote later on.

Well I DID vote, I just thought I said who.So that was a fail. Sorry bout that.
So I shall now say who I am for now: limeric.

I haven't been having much time ... sorry, but fish voting for Longhorn.

I stand by my earlier decision that the boss is inexperienced. Though that may change in later rounds. Just because the only firing one player per round.

I don't know. Taking out Asteroid alone was a smart move, but yeah, leaving Kaipper in could have been a mistake.
For now... I think we might need a clear majority and clear a 4th person. I am changing my vote to jpost so that coolmaths stays safe.
coolmaths (cleared) --> Limerick
JQPublic (cleared) --> Longhorn_fan
jervis --> jpost

Kaipper (99% cleared) -->

i THINK THEY ARE ONLY FIRING ONE PERSON TO KEEP US OFF. HABS DID THAT IN ONE OF HER GAMES AS BOOS AND SO DID NICATS, NEITHER ONE IS INEXPERIENCED.
I VOTED FOR JARVIS THIS ROUND SO FAR

Okay, so what do we know...
1) There is no way the boss got 50% of the vote based on the informal polling.
2) From 1, Mocha would have to be either a rat who failed to hack the network, haha, right -or- a candidate, which by definition would clear JQ since the boss a lemming doesn't make.
For Kai, we also had a couple majorities of 2, which as Jervis has brought up, suggests that Kai did indeed post or the above candidacy would not have held since no majority would exist. I am also inclined to clear Kai.
From this chain of logic, presenting a clear that isn't the most obvious, I am also inclined to think Jervis is relatively safe, not 100%, but, what is?
Stewie, although yes, he could be playing games with us, I don't really buy it, he suggestion of inexperience rings true, so another tentative clear. As far as the possibility of it being offsetting, I don't really buy Stewie as one super likely to play that, but that may be just me.
Longhorn is bringing up a point that directly could be used to implicate her, possible sure, but I don't think so here, it's not how the post reads to me, though I am a bit disturbed by the all caps.
That leaves me with jpost, who I also feel fits the tone of the memo that was left with the chiding of the employer, though, I will admit to not knowing his relative experience, to me, it all fits.
My vote is squarely on jpost.

The reason for the caps is I have a program I use at work that only recognizes CAPS. I forget to take it off and by the time I realize it I am too lazy to re-type everything

Sorry, I haven't been on much, guys. I am in a critical part of the year with regards to my income for the year, so my time has been spent there. The easiest thing for me is to keep voting for jervis until he is fully cleared. After all, it hasn't gotten me fired yet. Which, note to boss, because of the time, I don't mind being fired soon.
On the other hand, in view of the situation, I will change to try to get a majority on someone else. It looks like Limerick is the choice now, although some want to clear me first and I can't vote for me anyway.

So if I'm cleared, I should stick to voting for a player nobody else votes for, right?
I'm going to vote for StewieGriffin, but I'll be back on later.

Thanks. I just wasn't certain what the boss was meaning.
So, what are we going to do?
I don't quite know how to procede... I'd prefer coolmaths, JQPublic and Kaipper to be safe and not become candidates.
Currently coolmaths is possibly in a majority of 2.
Stewie, perhaps join Limerick and I for jpost or join Longhorn_fan for jervis (me)?
jpost can then also change his vote back to me and take coolmaths out of the firing line.
This way either jpost or I will be cleared and it will also maybe even clear a few more.
EDIT: Just want to add - Longhorn_fan and jpost are my top 2 suspects for boss at the moment. Limerick could be pulling the wool over my eyes, though I'm feeling that he is unlikely to be boss. I really don't know where to put Stewie - one to watch.

Haha believe me. If I was boss or rat you would have found me out by now. I really do stink at being the boss/rat. Anyway... I shall go with clearing youjervis. I have nothing else to go on.
I also give myself awayby not checking for typos, I am kinda lazy in that way. Unless it's on a professional job, whis braingle games are not.
Anyway. yeah. Voting you jervis... Hopefully next round will be more revealing in reguards to helping us find th boss...
Stewie.

You guys can vote for me all you want but I am NOT the boss or the rat.
I honestly think Jervis is teh Boss. Looks like Stewie is voting with me so if we take the above list and edit it then I believe we have a 3 way with 2 vots each. That is not going to be much help with firings, espically if there is a mandi this round.

I'm not sure what you are going on about coolmaths. No one voted for you. Again, you have now run out of time to say whether you did change your vote and who to In case I get fired, Longhorn is NOT the boss or rat the same reason Kaipper isn't. Boss can only be jpost, Stewie or Limerick.
From this, although I don't know how it fits in with the clue, but I reckon coolmaths is most likely the rat, if not then will likely get fired being the only cleared player in a majority. Is she Paranoid just a tad? Also speaking of paranoid, Longhorn_fan moves to the top of my boss suspect list.

I am just saying voting me is a waste of a round, and considering that there have really been no majorities for a true clear a wasted round is not favorable at this time.

I do know one thing, and no offense to the mod but I will never sign up for a 2 day round game again....This is dragging like crazy and there is not enough activity to justify the length of rounds.....AND mod....when you have 48 hours there should be no excuse to not send in a psych question....it pops up everytime you open the game.

I too belive the rat is Jervis as he seems to say almost everyone is the rat or boss in the previous round(this round moi ) and seems to be defending some others.
No effence, Jervis. Thanks for the help if you do get fired

I don't think clearing someone is ever a waste of time. And by all means, everyone vote for me next round if I am not fired this round. At this point the boss could be one of 5 players, and the rat, one of 8!
I do agree about playing a 2day game. I forgot how long it can take!

Actually 4, if you count Longhorn... see a post earlier on.
@coolmaths, no offence taken Its just a game, if I get fired, (or shot/eaten in werewolf), well then I've been beaten by better players and I just sign up for the next one. This is my first game for a few years, so I'm finding it a little hard to adjust as apart from mocha, I don't know how people stategise... although I remember jpost, Limerick and StewieGriffin, I just cant remember how they used to play (not that it would be too relevant now as they may have changed their strategies over the years).

I'm not quite sure who is the rat. I don't really see why it matters? It's not like we can get the rat fired.
If I had to pick someone I would say coolmaths.

Boss clue: You have done this often in this very game.
Longhorn, no offense taken. I am still learning how to do this, and I agree with what you say.
Oh and by the way, not to brag or anything, but I know who the rat is.
Who needs a witty signature anyway?

I still think the boss is jpost and I honestly think the rat debate doesn't mean much at this juncture. My answer to the boss clue is that we have posted a lot this game, thus jpost.
Just passing some time. 4 days is just painful!!
Pity about the boss clue, we would have got it next 2 rounds anyway. good job jpost, tricky boss! ;)
