We've cleared out the minor characters. Let's get some action going this round.
I personally believe the Harry Potter books will stand the test of time, but that remains to be seen. I've been reading the series outloud to my daughter this year, and we're on the last book and in the midst of the Battle of Hogwarts.

Reading the series out loud? That must be a lot of work! I'm going to vote MND. I think she is a likely candidate and we should clear her.
Ooooooh! Nice!
Ooooooh! Nice!
The Potter books are nice, but they're not unique enough to be remembered down the line beyond as part of the fandom, in my opinion. I enjoy dark stories and not necessarily fanciful novels, so I can't say there'd be a real great choice for the answer I'd give. I guess it'd be kind of fun to be Arthur Dent, but no one really wants to be Arthur Dent. If manga counts I'd think it'd be pretty great to be a JoJo in JoJo's Bizarre Adventures or the MC of some such fluffy story. I don't read enough fluffy novels.
In regards to the last answer, I do tend to enjoy happy endings, but hauntingly dreadful endings can be well done and great stories always have a mix of both: a satisfactory conclusion that ties up loose ends, but also some loss or revelation of the imperfection of the world. You can't have a good character get everything they always wanted nor can you have them not get anything at all.
Emerging from beyond the sea, Urashima Taro blew a ring of bubbles from his waterlogged old pipe, and stared off into the distance. Dripping across the cracked pavement, he shook himself off and saw the neon sign flickering before him. Over the last few centuries, his eyes had gotten worse, and it took quite a few glances to comprehend the name.
Times may change, but Taro will always be the same. He was beginning to regret returning to the surface after all.
I will also vote for Music.

Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

I realize that my avatar is not working in my favor, but all this will do is clear me as I am not the boss so you guys are welcome to vote for me. I'll put my vote on whoever is at the top of the list.
Whov, what has been your favorite book to read to your daughter? My personal favorites are the 3rd and 4th.
EDIT: Autocorrect mistake

As far as reading out loud, I had the most fun with book 5, because I do a pretty good Umbridge voice *hem hem*
Can I just say though, it was HARD to read about Dobby in book 7. When you read it aloud, every word just hits you harder.

Anyone who knows me in RL, this would instaclear me
I'm a huge reader, love fantasy (my tag line is from The Wheel of Time) love David Gemmel, currently reading Brandon Sanderson but have never had any time for the Harry Potter Books.

Sorry I am so late, I didn't have much energy last night.
This question would have been hard to answer. I like characters who fly around, e.g. Rogue and Storm in X-Men, which is one of the reasons I picked Baba Yaga.
Voting MND for the clear.
Sorry, nothing to see here folks, keep moving.

Also, congrats Who, on your anniversary. Mine was this month too, but I have no idea where I am in the rankings. I am a sporadically active player, so my score disappears and has to be re-built most of the time.

Hrrrmmmm. I don't know....
And even though I like the Harry Potter books, I would never be Fleur Delacour.
Twinkles and sparkles, glitter and shine!

Sorry for my absence guys. What I thought was a fever was actually a kidney infection and so I am in the hospital for a few days without much energy. I'm all for clearing since this is only the 2nd round and we don't have much to go on. Voting for music.
I hope you feel better!
