1. FROGS TRY THEM SO NO WORM CAN (delete 7 letters)

Nice teaser. It's clever. I thought each one would turn out as a holiday, though...

No...a 'holiday' is the first prize for getting all the correct answers!

I also think it is a good teaser, but confusing. The directions state "... in order to show the holiday". That's what generates the confusion. Better would have been "... in order to show something related to the holiday". Thanks.

Wow, I got them all, but it was tougher than I thought it'd be. What a great idea for a teaser!

A Lot tough in my opinion. I didn't see any of these titles in looking at the word phrases. Another good one Jazz, even though I totally failed at solving it. Thanks for posting.

Good teaser, tough to solve.

I agree with the comments, but it would have been a lot clearer if you hadn't used the politically correct euphemism "The Holiday Season" and just right out and said "Christmas" - oops was that okay to mention here...

I liked this one, it was harder than I thought.

I, too, was looking for Holidays, but I got a few of the answers. Not tough if the directions had been clearer.

It would not have been tought if people read the directions properly. I said: RELATING to the holiday season.

Dear O dear...

Great teaser once again. The directions were nice and clear. And I don't understand the quip about politically correctness stuff! I suppose it takes all kinds to make up this world!

Oh come on jazz, The creep wishes a menu isn't a real holiday comment? LOL love that one.

Delete Some Letters
"... in order to show the holiday".

Tsk. Tsk. Another sloppy instruction for an otherwise good puzzle. Thanks anyway.

Hun, to you the message was clear, that's because you wrote it. To us it was hard to understand because we misunderstood what it was asking us to do. It was VERY creative and fun when I got it, but please write more clearly what you'd like us to do.

Got them all but #3...guess not reading the full directions made it easier for me because I only read the first paragraph Great teaser!

I think it was not only a hasty misreading of the instructions that led many people astray (including me) -- it was also that the solution to the example given was in fact a name of a holiday. So that's what we were looking for -- names of holidays. Of course it became apparent after a while that there weren't any names of holidays there, and that's the point at which I gave up -- too soon, I admit.

Got it, though it was tough! Good one!

You are to delete a few letters in each unrelated phrase in order to show the holiday The directions are very clear as to what is to be done, but the problem is the directions do not lead to the correct answers. The directions should have read delete letters to read a phrase related to Christmas. I was trying to figure out holidays, not phrases or song titles.

Worst ever explanations of what to do. Too many of us feel that way to be wrong. I too was trying to find holidays and finally gave up.

Quite simple and well done; the directions were perfectly clear to me!

I agree with raisin. It was fun and seemed easy to me. Maybe just the mood I am in today! Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Yeah, I had to go back and re-read the directions - after getting the first one, I realized they were related to Christmas and got the rest.
