Musicians Eddie, Alex, Steven, Don, and Brett all competed in a solo competition. Each sang a different type of music: gospel, blues, country, soul, and folk. Each played a different instrument: violin, guitar, bass, piano, and organ. From the clues given, determine the man, his type of music, the instrument that he plays, and his place in the competition.
1- The bass player's soul performance finished third.
2- The folk and country singers did not use a keyboard and neither did Brett.
3- Don placed higher than the bass player, who placed higher than the gospel singer, but none of them won the competition.
4- The violinist finished behind Steven, but ahead of the blues singer; however, none of them finished last.
5- The guitar player did not sing country.
6- Eddie did not sing gospel while playing his piano.

The clues says keyboard but the chart says piano. It can be a bit confusing

Aeon, I think that is so you can cross out both the organ and the piano, both keyboard instruments.

Another good one! I enjoyed it. I still haven't figured out the one about the grandsons, but I'm about to try it again.

I'm not good at these types of puzzles, so naturally i failed miserably. Good one though!

True about pianos being keyboards, but I think that should be a hint to help.

Never would have gotten this one. I'm thinking a hit might have been helpful as well. Thanks for posting.
