Alright man! you got my popularity vote!
what is an anigram?
you shouldnt have put the hint! at least out a harder 1!
The hint kind of gave it away but still, good job.
Great job Mogmatt! That's really cool!
That was awesome!
Fun! Fun! Fun!
Fun! Fun! Fun!
Nice job - a little easy, but I enjoyed it.
I liked this. Lmurray, not all Brainglers are from the US and I definitely did not learn this in the 4th grade. It was both fun and interesting for me to see how the anagram so beautifully describes the monument. Great one Mog!
I must have been in a monumental frame of mind today, for that grand ol' lady just jumped right out at me. Very well done.
Built to Stay Free - what a clever anagram. Thanks for a good one!
Pretty easy without the hint. So if you needed the hint, you needed the hint. Anyway, very nice and clean.
And to 3tissue: an anagram is juts a rearrangement of the letters of a word or phrase which describes the original word or phrase.
I needed the hint.
WOW! Am I impressed. How long did it take you to figure out the anagram in the first place? WAY TO GO!
The teaser is Totally Awesome! It came to me, quite quickly, today! Keep up the terrrific work!
Lmurray doesn't know how to express any attitude other than hate, dislike or jealousy. One of these days he will realize that others need a compliment on how good it can make them feel. It is too easy to run something down, but try to build something up. The total truth is, it is too easy to run something down, then it is to hand out a respectful compliment. LM enjoys the rush of the easiness of jealousy.
.that was pretty a easy one but a good try... better then some of the others that have been out there..
Personally, I think you don't have to look at the hint. I liked this teaser, it was fun and easy way to start my day. Thanks!!
That was a cute little wake up for my brain. You should take the hint down tho. I'll bet it took you a fair minute to come up with the anagram ho. Now THAT woulda been a tricky teaser.
Easy, but the well thought out anagram made it special!
Absurdly easy (hint unnecessary) but BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN. Thank you!
I got this one in less than a minute. still good job on finding an anagram for that
Definitely easy, but enjoyable all the same!
I don't think I would have got it if I hadn't read the hint; then it was immediately clear.
The anagram was cleverly done, but the answer was easy. Enjoyed the anagram!

Sorry for the double post!
I'm confused. Built to stay free is not actually an anagram for "Statue of Liberty." it is missing a "t" You had best check your spelling.
The only thing better than this teaser would to see her touch stuck someplace to enlighten the living monument of rudeness, Imurray. But I doubt it would help.
Grand teaser. I've seen it you know.
Grand teaser. I've seen it you know.
After thinking a moment I got this but thought I might be wrong for the same reason jedimaster stated, where's the third 't'?
I see three "t' in ,.. builT To sTay... Isn't that enough? STaTue of LiberTy
good job, enjoyed it
I think the initial phrase is enough of a hint, didn't need a second one. Fun one though.
The hint really gave it away but i liked it anyway
Thank you for the teaser keep it up
Thank you for the teaser keep it up
Nicely done. Not an original but good nonetheless
Way to edit, OldChinaHand
Good teaser
i think the hint gave it away i didn't even have to think but good one i guess
I think it was too easy for American born
people, but it was a good bit of history for immigrants, I guess.

I got it immediately without the hint, but it was very well written. I love that anagram!
It was an okay teaser. Pretty easy, even for me who doesn't usually get the anagrams.
Easy but fun!!
Nicly Written, but i think the hint gave it away.
Good teaser!

Hmm. Maybe I just live too close to the U.S. border or something (hellooo Detroit) but I had to roll my eyes at this... and I apologize, because it really is a nice anagram. I think I've just been soured by the media, and especially the current political situation, which I'm trying very hard not to criticize publically because I know that's almost as bad as attempting to criticize religion (not that I would do that -- I would only criticize the overzealous religious people, not the religions themselves! )

A monumental teaser!

Good teaser - an honour well deserved of being chosen for teaser of the day
Very easy, no hint needed. I found enough T's to fit, some people can't count. Ha Ha.
Fun teaser.
Fun teaser.
Easy but well-written and fun!
Very easy, but very clever. Jedimaster, don't you find it a bit hypocritical - and a bit embarrassing - to tell someone they "best check" their spelling when you obviously don't do it yourself?!
I couldn't get it at first, (I'm horrible at anagrams ), but the hint gave it away pretty quickly.
That was EXTREMLY easy, but i liked it alot
It did not take much to please all the people in 2007. What was the point in giving a hint that told you the answer?? That ruined it for me. Sorry folks!
Nice and easy today. Good Morning GF or do you prefer GW.
Really easy. Didn't even look at the hint until I was reading the comments and people were commenting on how it gave away the answer. I agree the hint would give it to some who did not get it anyway, however as pointed out a LOT of users are from places outside the US and the hint may not have helped them anyway.
I LOVED this one - Anagrams are wonderful. Cleverly done! and Cutebug, if I'm GW, who the heck is GF? (Girlfriend? Good friend? Great friend?) Sunny here in frigid Michigan - have a wonderful day, everyone!
Clever and well done even if it was easy. I liked it. I don't get too many teasers right or think they're easy.
For those who thought the original anagram was missing a "t," look again. There are 3 "t"s in "Built to stay free," the "t" in "built," the "t" in "to," and the "t" in "stay." Likewise there are three "t"s in "Statue of Liberty," two of them in "Statue," and one of them in "Liberty." The anagram maker's spelling doesn't need to be checked, but perhaps the eyesight of some of the solvers does.
Quite easy without the hint, but still very fun. I think the fact that the answer rhymed with the anagram kind of helped it be the first monument that comes to mind.
Why do people complain that the hint gives it away when you have an option to look at the hint or not? Just don't look! I thought it was pretty easy, but I admire the creativity!
I am short on time this a.m. So I peeked.
Saw this one in Uncle John's Bathroom Reader.
Fun and easy teaser; I got it immediately from the sentence description and did not even need to look at the anagram. The hint was unnecessary because this one was too easy to need one.
