This superb teaser is easier because it has been used within a year, but try to get a few more made a little bit tougher. Keep up the terrific work! I can enjoy this type of teaser.

What I don't like is making a comment on a daily teaser, and finding there are already fifty to over a hundred comments from the past times it was the daily teaser! I agree also that with all teh teasers it doesn't seem like they'd need to repeat the Teaser of the Day teaser. Everyone who agrees with that should PM Jake, the owner, or one of the editors, if you want tem to change it. Make it very specific and polite. I liked this teaser a lot, and, I GOT IT, YAY!!! I did it in my head. I think it was JUST hard enough to do in my head, and to be a challenge. Thanks!

But I started with the drink, and tried POP, then GIN, and was almost frustrated... until I scanned down to see if there were other ones I could get more easily. 1-2-6 eats 3-2-6 is a dead giveaway, and only THEN were the drink and fruit easy to get (for me). All in all, I had to call this easy, but fun.

wordmama Sep 03, 2009	Kathryn, the numbers refer to the position of the letters in the 6-letter word being sought!! I really enjoyed figuring this out, even if it only took a minute to complete. Thanks for posting! btw, for the people complaining about repeats: not everyone on-site now was on years ago; also, I for one do not check out every puzzle, every day, so the puzzles I see and do are new for me, and I'm sure I'm not alone!!

thecatladycac Sep 03, 2012	I tried "pear" for a 4-letter fruit and went from there - a lucky start - so I found it easy, but very enjoyable! As far as cats eating rats: A feral cat who has to scrounge and hunt for its food would probably eat it; whereas a pet cat who is routinely fed would maybe kill it just because of its hunting instincts but would probably not eat it! Oh well, Good Teaser!!
