I'm first to tell you, peppamintp, what a fun teaser this one is. Look forward to more of these super teasers.
nice one peppamintp! that was fun!
Great job! I really liked that one.
Thank you
thumbs up
BU TAI NAN, HEN RONGYI ( NOT TOO DIFFICULT, VERY EASY)
Its harder if you aren't in (I assume) the US. I got stoplight although we don't use that, wht is a timeclock?
Actually I don't know what a candystriper is either.

Ienjoyed it! Thx.
Nicely done, not too hard nor too easy, a nice little fun treat for the brain. My brain and I thank you.
I got em all, yay! Except I wondered about timeclock too, is that where you punch in at work? I think thats right, but its been forever since i used one. Believe it or not, a "candystriper" is a person who puts the stripes on candycanes... LOL! No, really, get this, its a volunteer at the hospital! Now, don't make ME lie about why they are called "candystripers", maybe peppa knows. Thanks!
nice!
Fun not to hard,
time clock is any clock that kepps track of time such as at work or a timed sports event
candy stripers used to wear red and white striped dresses to be easily identified as a volunteer and not staff

I had a brain cramp with the directions. An example would have helped me get going on this one. Good teaser, though.
TACK FOR SENASTE (Swedish for "thanks for submitting").
TACK FOR SENASTE (Swedish for "thanks for submitting").
Hey that one was terrific. I have no idea what a canystriper is though. It is someone that puts the stripes on peppermints??? lol. Well great teaser anyways.
Badger and I both had the same problem this morning. I guess the directions were not clear enough for my brain this AM. Great teaser nonethe less.
Hospital volunteers that are identified by their red and white pin-striped frocks or uniforms, usually high schoolers... I'd love to hear some other names for them in different countries!
Easy. Weak. Lame.
Didn't get the first one couldn't burn enough brain cells. But good one!
Got the first three, but I was thinking "bass" for the last one. Rock bass and stripers (aka striped bass) are two kinds of fish.
Actually, I think there were some other answers possible (although I could be wrong).
I thought watch could be another answer for # one. A watch house is where undercover agents watch suspicious going-ons, isn't it?
I thought Swan Lake, Lake bird. A lake bird would be a duck or any bird that swims.
That's all. Maybe those aren't real words and I just made them up but I thought they were real.

I too thought about SWAN LAKE and LAKE BIRD, but the directions said the solution had to combine to make 1 word. I also found myself wondering if there is such a thing as a DIVE BIRD!
Fun teaser!
Fun teaser!
I liked the teaser and hope to see more of them!
This would have been better if the directions were clearer. "Swan song," "stop light," "candy striper," "rock candy," and "time clock" are phrases, not words.
i love these types of puzzles
I got 2 of them. I agree...these are phrases not words. But, I probably still would have only gotten 2 anyways!
The directions were confusing. I thought it meant that the last letter of the first word was the first letter of the second.
pretty good teaser haha that little dude is cute
Interesting. Good job.
Didnt know about candy stripers. Got # 2 & 3 but thought it was stop watch for # 1!
when i first saw the last one i thought it said 'rock____stripper'! lol im like WHAT!? LOL CANDY STRIPPERS
Total brain freeze here. I reread the directions several times and still didn't get it! Great job...normally I ace the language teasers
P.S.
And unlike Brandon and Badger, it's p.m. for me...after dinner. So I don't have the sleeping brain to fall back on

Thank you for the explainations
I thought I was supposed to be candy stripper...lol. The first was easy, but on the rest, I WAS thinking words, no spaces.Not phrases, which is what some were;
I too got the directions mixed up. After I looked I could figure it all. Oh Well, guess I am tired. That was a good teaser.
I got most of them, but still don't know what a swan song is. Don't they just, kinda, honk? not sing? oh well...
Before I got "time", I thought "half cuckoo!" because that's what I am...
*I giggle at myself, which makes me giggle at myself, which makes me...*
