The four friends are fighting again. This time, it's about how their favourite characters were shaped up in their favourite books by their favourite authors. The fight became so bad that the friends became clueless about who was in which book and who wrote which book. Can you match their favourite characters with their books and authors with the help of these clues?
Friends: Dis, Dip, Raj, Rich
Character: Marple, Huck, Hermione, Darcy
Book: Sleeping Murder, Tom Sawyer, Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice
Authors: Agatha Christie, Mark Twain, J.K. Rowling, Jane Austen
1. Rich and Dip hate the childish Harry Potter books.
2. Rich fell in love with Darcy's attitude in Jane Austen's classic.
3. Raj just can't stop admiring Hermione's comfort with magic.
4. Dis is a fan of murder mysteries.
5. Dip became Mark Twain's fan because of Twain's imagination in shaping Huck's character.
6. Jane Austen's novel's title did not include any person's name, just emotions/ideas.
7. Agatha Christie was awarded the title of Mystery Queen for her murder mysteries.

Good puzzle, but a teeny bit too easy if you already know the authors and their works! I would just use made-up characters and works, because I had most of it solved before I even started.
far 2 easy. i knew it all b4 i started. next time dont use characters SO well known.
Too easy, dispite the error in calling Jane Austin "Prejudice."
2 EZ.
its not even a brain teaser!!! just go on like testyourliterature.com or something!!!!!! ~not real website~ make it harder ........ Please!!!!!!
I solved the grid using only the top row, please mix it up a bit next time.
T'was fun. I'm glad people out there still read Austin.
Good puzzle for beginning logic students!
I don't think you should have used characters and books that people know so well. You should have used one of those really obscure books that nobody ever reads.
Way too simple ! I thought that you might have mixed up the authors and characters...but by having them in their actual books, you didn't even need clues to solve this! Please try again, I would love to do another of yours.
Yes, I too thought it was extremly easy, but it was also cute. I had fun matching up all the characters and authors before actually reading the clues. Keep working at it, I am sure you can make one a bit harder.
I hate to complain but that was way too easy....only needed a few of the clues
don't feel bad....was easy, but that's okay.
i've read all the books so i didn't need the clues ,but it waz an o.k puzzle 4 beginners!
Have to agree with what many of the others said -- that if you read a book and new the author, the only thing to solve was the "friend" who read the book. I worked one of your puzzles (that was created after this one, and it was MUCH better). Keep posting.
Hopefully this may be made a little harder once the Logic Grid solver has been editted so that Austin isn't called Prejud and Darcy doesn't have an S in his name.
Your clues were quite good.. perhaps to improve later efforts you could make up different names.

ez,but really good!
yay, it's corrected!
i agree with most of these people if you already read the books than u could figure it out without the grid but i really like these so maybe you could try again and make one that is hard. By the way keep workin on makin another one and i m sure it will be better
Great fun. Since I knew all the titles, authors and chatacters it was fun to play strictly by the rules, .associations not given away by the clues. True, you instantly see if you are wrong, but it makes the logical process transparent
to easy
But fun
