An easy, yet very entertaining teaser, coming from the top. You could add a few more to each teaser, so people don't feel cheated.

Great teaser.

Anchorman was a tough one though. Gave my brain a work out. The rest were very easy.

Nice job Fishmed and Imurray. I'm so proud of both of you. Did enjoy this one, seems these are the easiest for me as I do so many word search puzzel I somehow had developed the knack of filling in letters, or maybe it's just because that is the way I type. Good job.

The question is are Braingles designed to be difficult or to be enjoyably simple? My answer is that it can be any way you want. Whatever could be on your mind at the time. All those who stated that is was too easy, don't complain, this just means that you can get back to your real JOB sooner

I was SO SURE that the last one was going to be liplizard. Didn't anyone else get that? Sheesh.

Okay, all unseriousness aside, I also didn't get #1 or #4. I'm just not one of those crossword-puzzlers. Oh well! Maybe the next one will float my boat! (I had a funny thought in my head about ANCHORman and SHIPshape, but couldn't figure out how to incorporate it into my comment except in this lame-o way, so please excuse me.)

Thanks, fishmed! Language puzzles are generally my favorites. As it's one in the morning, I got enjoyment, insincere, and haphazard. I a more normal hour I should have gotten etiquette. The other 2 I would not have gotten, but I enjoyed it anyway.

i.e.AT a more normal hour (poor typing also explained by the time!! g'nite!!!)

The more you relax in your approach to this one, the easier it gets. I think that's because the mind, when reading words, doesn't note all the letters of a word, but looks at the whole configuration of the word. It is like the sample paragraphs of words that have the correct first and last letters, but mixed-up middle letters. Your mind skims over the errors and reads the paragraph with no problem.

Aren't our minds fascinating?

I see I'm not the only one who subscribes to Reader's Digest. It's copied word for word, IIRC.
