Yea. It's a good one. In fact more difficult to me than the first. How/Why? I don't know.

Very clever. Though I wasn't aware you could move the letters around to form the new words . . .

Good one. Needed the hint on #4.

Just curious how numbers 1 and 2 are related?

Not sure what you mean crazy10man; except for the one letter which is moved, none of the other letters are re-arranged.

elentir, one of the definitions of "act" is: "a formal decision, LAW, or the like, by a legislature, ruler, court, or other authority; decree or edict; statute; judgment, resolve, or award: an act of Congress."

I did guess rage and blow, but I thought that one was a bit of a stretch. Otherwise, though, I liked this teaser a lot! Keep'em coming

i figured them out , but the the example given was misleading because the letters in hip and ship remain in the original order , good quiz though once i figured it out ,

I don't understand the confusion with the letters not remaining in the same order. All the letters stayed in the same order - the moved letter just wasn't always the first letter like the example.

Fun but definitely needed the hint on a few! Great teaser!

I had to use the hint, and then I got them all except the first one. I wasn't thinking of "act" as an act of congress, but I get it now. I was looking more for terms used in a court trial. This was really fun and a new kind of word puzzle for me.

OK, and what about number 2 - how do rage and blow equate?

I love this one, easy even without the hint. Rage and blow could both refer to the stormy weather. I had no trouble seeing a connection.

I was confused for the first one, I thought it was cat, but otherwise I like this puzzle. Thanks for posting it!

It was okay. Almost the same as the last couple of teasers except no beheading, just moving them around. Ho Hum!

Missed the last one.

Loved it! Though I did not understand multiple comments about the letters moving?!?
Though similar to the idea of the behead and curtail puzzles this one was different enough to be fun as well. Liked the fact that the letter removed was not always from the same word (1st or 2nd) nor in the same position in the word, which made it a bit more challenging than some past teasers.
On a site that has been up as long as this one has and that has as many teasers posted as it does, it can be hard to come up with new and original ideas.

Just hard enough to stimulate the brain, but not so hard to cause me to give up! Enjoyable Teaser!!

I remembered the Rage-Blow from the last time, but I still don't think those two equate. Using the raging storm analogy, one could also equate rage to clouds which aren't valid synonyms either.
