good one. instructions were a little confusing, but hey, that's just me. I'm tired and i have to go to the bathroom, so i'm not concentrating.
Piffle, of all the states to be in when going to the bathroom, 'not concentrating' probably isn't the best ;P . Nice teaser snaps, I liked it. I agree the explanation required a little crunching around in my head. It probably needed to say that the following words all use this as a 'prefix'. Still, nice work.
Good teaser. Clear enough to me, even after a couple of cabernet sauvignons!
I really enjoyed this teaser, thanks!
From one 'snap' to another....great quiz snap!
auspice is an omen or sign. the seasoning is allspice
oops my bad just figured it out
me: FAIL
me: FAIL
The comment about allspice-auspice just shows the instructions were a bit confusing. Great quiz, I enjoyed it.
Agreed, the instructions were not the best, but now that I understand them, I'd have to say good teaser. Thanks for posting.
This was a clever teaser. I'm just too dumb to get any of them.
i liked the idea. the directions weren't clear. should've said you were coming up with new words beginnning with AU that didn't have anything to do with the definitions...

I think the teaser would have been even better if an example was given.
Great quiz, but I must agree with most of the other comments, the directions were not very good. I still got 3/4, so I guess the directions weren't too bad. Thanks.
I agree that an example would have been helpful. After I saw the answers I understood the directions completely. I think an expample would have provided the same results, and I may have had a chance to figure out the correct answers. But, after the fact, I do think it was a cute and clever teaser.
True, an example would've been helpful, but overall it was good teaser. For number 3, I guessed autumn but it turned out to be auspice!
I liked it.
When I finally figured out what you
wanted, I did well, but auspice is not right. I put augratin which is not a seasoning either, but as close as I could come. At first I thought you wanted Australian words and was going to give up until a little light went on inside this old head and Voila!
Good one after all.

Oh god the puns
The instructions were a bit confusing - but once I understood them, it was good. Just one problem - Thor is NOT the Australian god of thunder. I believe he's a viking god? Australia doesn't have it's own single religion - depending on your perspective it either has heaps of religions currently (due to its multiculturalism) or many religions (from all the different aboriginal tribes that used to live here).
This teaser was just so-so! For some reason it didn't appeal to me. I agree with Babe regarding "auspice" Doehead, I see you're online now -present yourself! Have a wonderful day, friends!!
Auheck I feel auful for not commenting on this auflee easy teaser before. Hi girls
Not a very good quiz. An example is necessary and even then the concept doesn't make sense.
I was lost in the Outback on this one. I thought they needed two word answers (like 'awfully uncomfortable', etc.).
AROB, he he.Hi G and K.
