that was an extraordinarialy short night round... sorry I wasn't active last round....it wouldn't let me post...and due to that fact I didn't vote because I dont vote without posting...anywho I read the whole last round and I think that smithy may be a wolf may not but he has my biggest read for now
so if you didn't get it from my post I'm voting smithy....its subject to change though

Finally! Now we have positively identified a wolf we can start picking apart some previous happenings to get more insight.
In another striking example of my excellent (mis)judgement, one of my main suspects is essentially cleared by Snowy's wolf-ness: masoni went for Snowy far too early last round to be a wolf abandoning a sinking team mate. Vlerma and markus both also voted for Snowy in previous rounds (the former doing so twice), which would also suggest that they are probably human. Unfortunately we can't be too sure about the votes from last round as it's still possible that superleaf is a wolf - in which case some people voting for snowy could simply be wolves picking between two other wolves, making the decision in order to try to look human when it's revealed they helped shoot a wolf.
EDIT: What exactly was it from last round that makes you suspect me, markus? If you share maybe I can help explain my behaviour.

Smithy if I was awolf I would have made sure neither of us got a majority.
May I also remind all of you that I was the 2nd person to join masoni's surge for a wolf/indian.
Congrats mason and I was lucky to be alive.

sorry smithy its kinda hard to describe...its like your trying too hard to clear yourself...or to make yourself look less suspect...just speaks to me of a wolf...but the conflict I have with that is that you have been called a wolf sinse round 2...thats why I'm on the fence about ya

Smithy I think you are trying to put more suspicion onto me even though I helped shoot snowmonster.
Wolfy Much???
Wolfy Much???
Sorry for my non vote last round but I had no power when I woke up this morning. It is just as well though since I did intend to voteSL which may have prevented the death of our first wolf. I agree that it would seem that Masoni and markus are human but as for vlerma it has been my experience that she is very smart and deceptive and it would not surprise me if she were to vote for a fellow wolf that appeared not to be in danger of being shot to make her look human later in the game. I am not saying she is a wolf, only that she has completly fooled me before where I felt certain of her identity but was wrong. I am still leaning towards SL but you guys make good points about smithy. He has been suspect for some time and he seems to work harder at defending himself than finding the real wolves. I will hold my vote for now and watch the posts.

Keep it up guys, nothing like the wolves sitting back watching the humans fight each other. Lordy! I'm waiting until tomorrow, but all I can say is, so yippee, we got one wolf. That means there are still three out there. The humans odds are getting worse all the time.

The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?
I don't really see why I veer from suspiciously quiet to suspiciously defensive in the space of a couple posts. If people suspect me then of course I am going to try to defend myself - why is there an assumption in this game that a wolf would defend themselves more strongly than a human? As far as I'm aware a human enjoys being shot pretty much exactly as much as a wolf does.
And superleaf: all I said about you was "it's still possible that superleaf is a wolf". I hardly think that qualifies as trying to put more suspicion on you, neither do I think asking for clarification on a point to be "wolfy much", regardless of how many smilies follow said declaration.
EDIT: tahomac wrote:
If people stopped giving me things to defend myself against maybe I could focus on the offense a little more. That is a good point, though, and precisely why I tried to sit back a bit more last round, so as not to detract from the task of finding the wolves - a move which backfired somewhat.
I think at least a couple of our remaining wolves are amongst debc1, froggygg, superleaf & tahomac. This is more due to a lack of reasons to clear them rather than positive suspicion, as it were.

Hey guys.
Jeez, I'm so glad we shot an Indian. Me and superleaf were refreshing the page for five minutes in math class to see who got shot in the tie. So anyways, I'm still suspecting Smithy. He is defending himself the exact same way I defended myself when I was a wolf (in my first 2 out of 3 games). However, this is only my fourth game (and I've moderated one) so maybe I'm WAAAY off, but I think I've caught on, and I am going to vote Smithy. For now at least.

I agree with masoni
Math class was weird... Anyway I think smithy is a wolf trying to hit a guy when hes down is an unwise move.
I'm voting for Smithy and mebbe the cowboys can get out of this alive...

I'm glad we finally got our first wolf and that the computer chose correctly. I'm still not convinced that Super is a human, but I am beginning to have a few suspicions about Smithy and Grayma. I have also played in several games where Grayma has not seemed wolfy at all and, in fact, went on about how terrible it was that "froggy" was eaten when she was a wolf herself!
I've also played in games where the wolves will vote for a fellow wolf when they feel there is no way to help the wolf receiving all the votes and to appear to be human themselves. In fact, I was one of those wolves who was thrown under the bus by another wolf in a game and it really isn't a fun way to go...
I just went back through the last round to see why little-mozart was eaten and found he had voiced his suspicions:
And, several posts later:
At this point, I'm going to wait until morning to vote after I see what everyone has to say.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

if had to name who i thought were the four wolves it would be snow smithy joseph and superleaf
And, several posts later:
Strangely Smithy has only placed one vote in the whole game(could be mistaken), a wolf laying low? My other suspects snow and joseph have steered clear from voting for each other as well.
Snowy and joseph and smithy have been redirecting any suspiscion cast on them.

Once again, no-one has provided a satisfactory answer to my query about why defending yourself automatically makes you suspicious. Oh well.
Voting for froggy because I believe her to be a wolf.

I'm going to join Smithy and vote for Froggy, someone that didn't vote for a wolf last round, and someone that read through posts enough to find "evidence" of me being a wolf but conveniently left out the part that would point at me being a human (the little mozart quote I have above). I have to go to work work are i doubt I will be back before the round is over. I am stil leaning toward SL but it seems like if I voted for them I would be the only one and that does not seem productive. I will join in the vote for smithy because he seems more and more wolfy as time goes on. We can get super next round

I went back to start analyzing stuff since we have a wolf down now. Due to the great active group we have, there is SOOO much to read through. I didn't even get through all of round 2 (which is were I started) and I feel I've got info to share. I feel Round 2 firmly shows that superleaf is a human. At the 4:19PM mark SL changes his vote to snow which gives her the majority vote with 3, snow confirms this a couple of posts below SL's. There is NO WAY SL would have put a wolf in the majority then if he was a wolf too. Also, 4wheels ended up taking the majority that round and not snow.....did wolves have a hand in bailing snow out? Taho and Markus are there voting for 4wheels, 2 people I haven't found evidence to state they are human yet. Hmmm....
In Round 3 snowy supports Smithy, that worries me. I see in Round 4 when I made my list people thought I was saying they were inactive? I was misunderstood and didn't get their responses until now, LOL. I can't make it through Round 5...too...much...reading...and...thinking.

It is absolutely impossible that we are both wolves, given how the game has panned out, so if you think SL to be a wolf surely that would mean I am human? Despite SL's best protestations I actually haven't registered suspicion of him in this round, I'm not sure whether or not he's a wolf, but the idea that we could both be wolves, which seems to be the scenario implied by your post, is completely ludicrous. I know you're a smart player, tahomac, so to do something so seemingly against the humans' interests strikes me as mighty suspicious.
EDIT: Just to add, my main reasoning for voting Froggy is because of the bluebear vote saga. I wasn't around when that issue was discussed, but as far as I'm concerned there's absolutely no logical justification for a human to shoot a 100% known human, and I feel froggy is experienced enough to know that. It may just be that she disagrees with me on that point, and was a human just trying to do the right thing, but such a strategy strikes me as extremely odd. Also, the fact that she's made it this far without being eaten means she must be a wolf.

It's ok Smithy, taho is a wolf is why he seems so odd to you. It was 3 votes for you and 2 votes for froggy, and taho needed to protect his fellow wolf.
morning
finally a wolf!!!
i don't know who to vote for yet, since i was wrong about snow
will wait awhile and see where the points take me and by the way ya'll all make good points

Smithy, you are correct in that I do strongly disagree with your opinion on inactive players. I explained how inactives can lose a game for the Humans because the wolves usually won't eat them and will take out the active players first. I've been in enough games that were lost due to inactives and usually do vote to take out inactives. And, yes I did keep my vote on Blue because he was inactive at that point.
As far as my still being in the game making me a wolf - what about you still being in the game? You are an experienced player who is usually eaten early in the game. So is Grayma and a few others still here. In fact, you even made a comment about how the wolves are not taking out the more experienced players and thanked them for it! This was in round 4:
Joseph, yes, I did miss the post you quoted from little mozart. Sorry. But, as to my not voting for snowy (now a known wolf) go back and read one of my last posts where I said I would change my vote if needed to keep the tie in place and that I would be back before the round ended in order to check. True to my word, I did come back but the tie was in place and I didn't change my vote in order to break a tie on two people that I was not entirely sure were wolves.
At this point, I'm still not quite ready to vote, but I will definitely be back before the round is over.

I do agree that inactives can lose the game for the humans, but I don't really see any advantage in shooting a known inactive human as you're essentially left in the same situation but with one less helpful human gone (and by that I mean whoever the wolves choose to eat in the corresponding night round - my reasoning doesn't even consider the fact that an inactive might become active later, as happened here). I would agree with you if the inactive in question wasn't cleared, though.
And to your point about my remaining here: I'm not usually taken out that early (at least not compared to you ), and even if I were normally the wolves would want to leave me during the night as I have had suspicion on me since day 1, so could be seen as an easier target for them in the day.

The same can be said for the pairings of joseph and tahomac, and joseph and froggy. Therefore, I would say from that list of four people only a maximum of two could be wolves: either joseph and/or myself, or tahomac and/or froggy.
Now, I have a slim majority. Personally, I feel (although I am massively biased ) that it's much more likely that froggy is a wolf, explaining tahomac's inexplicable vote for me - possibly a vote to protect a follow wolf, as joseph pointed out. It's certainly a vote that's far less justifiable through reasoning and logic, which coming from an experienced player is quite a good sign of wolfish camaraderie.
That is mainly aimed at masoni and markus, both of whom I feel are human, but also superleaf, who I know think less likely to be a wolf than debc (who has been far too quiet for my liking) - I hope you don't see this as wolfish behaviour for me "trying too hard", I'm merely trying to present as clear and logical an argument as possible in order to try to help the humans on the way to victory.

You have made a few good points about taking out inactives, Smithy. However, I guess this is just one area we will have to agree to disagree.
As far as the wolves leaving you in the game due to suspicions being placed on you, the same thing applies to me since my name has also been brought up a few times. Just the fact that I'm still here, makes some assume that I'm a wolf - just like you have voiced and which has happened to me in other recent games where I'm left in until my "wolfability" has run its course and then I'm eaten.
I'm still not entirely sure you're a wolf, but it makes more sense that you are than anyone else so far. Well, I do have a few others I'm watching as well. I still have a few hours before I have to vote, so I'm still going to hold off for now.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I am not saying all of you are wolves. That's just the order of my suspicion, and I think at least one, or maybe two of them are wolves. I will continue to make suspect lists every round.

I realise this, but I'm just saying, wolves work as a team - humans don't necessarily, as they aren't sure of each other's identities. There is more evidence of teamwork on the part of froggy and tahomac than on any other plausible wolf combination. I know you have this idea that I'm suspicious but I feel I've made some pretty legitimate logical defences - please at least consider them.

Since there are only 3 hours left in this round and I'm getting ready to leave for a few hours, I'm going to have to vote now. Smithy, you have been very convincing (even though I don't get your tahomac/froggy teamwork connection), but I'm more suspicious of you than anyone else, so you are getting my vote. Sorry if I'm wrong...

Smithy, they are #'s 2 and 3 on my list... Of course I consider them. And the most teamwork was between you and snowmonster... A WOLF!!!

Froggy, no worries, whether you're a human or a wolf voting for me to help save yourself is the logical thing to do.
masoni, there was no evidence of teamwork between snowy and I - she defended me but with logical reasoning. What I mean about the teamwork between froggy and tahomac is that tahomac made a completely illogical and contradictory vote for me which helps protect froggy - there is no other justification for it other than to save a wolf team mate. With Snowy defending me, and with joseph, they made valid logical points - evidence of solid reasoning rather than team work. (Obviously Snowy turned out to be a wolf, and joseph still could be one for all I know, but the point is that their actions were backed up by reasoning, rather than a blind need to protect someone.)

Stewie, fellow players, wolves, humans and purple people eaters. I hereby must remove myself from any and all voting rights of this game.
As a favor to Stewie I hosted the dead talkbox for him. I am now privy to information that as a player I should not have. Sorry Stewie, next game if I host the dead box for you, I will not play, or I have another lady who will gladly host one for you. I did not think this through when I offered my subscription for the invitations.
It is up to the players if they want to change their votes and just vote me out, or I will just be a silent stand by to do only the thing I would have done with the dead talk box had I realized that as the host I would also be able to read everything that was in the box. Again, my honesty will not allow me to continue posting or voting, but I do not want to ruin the game for Stewie or the rest of you. I do apologize for this.
The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

Bummer vlerma.
It looks like Smithy will be shot so I will change my vote to him and save us all an hour.

No biggie grayma. It happens. Just make sure you don't do anything silly (I know you won't) and all will be fine.
You are forgiven.
Stewie.
