Sweet! And now it's bedtime.
Yyeeeehaw. It has begun. It is finally upon us.
Ok fist thing. I tossed out a random vote for queen. Just to spark early discussion. But now I am off to my leaba.

Cool. Glad to see it's started and nice to see some great new players to add to the already great cast.
It is indeed late here though. Lol. Let's hope we can get some good discussion started before the round ends.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

I am pretty annoyed that I'm up this early on a Saturday, but, uhm, that's how life goes. I also tend to agree that it is too early to cast a fish-vote.
I am here. Glad to see the gae has started. I will toss out a vote to see what happens. I will vote for the 13th person in the list.
Edit to add: The 13th person was Queen and since stewie has voted them I will vote the 7th person in the list instead.

Random vote to protect the seer. I have to go drop my cousin at the airport, but I will be back later, before the round ends.
Looks like it's voting time. I'll place a random vote for someone that hasn't posted yet.

Cab, dolphin is now in a majority. If that's what you want, fine, but I don't think that you want a majority so early in the game, so I'm just putting that little fact out there.
Placing a fish-vote.
Placing a fish-vote.
Good point, softball. Changed my vote to someone else. This vote is very likely to change further should something interesting present itself.

June12 stated a vote for 4demo but I don't see it.
Someone - LogicalRoger, I think - pointed out in the previous game that in the two recent consecutive games, both people for whom I voted in a majority of one ended up being shot, and suggested this might have to do with a 'first alphabetically' impact on perhaps-not-so-random selection. If that's true, then it seems whomever I vote for is in an unfortunate position, whereas if I don't vote, it seems caberet's target is at greatest risk. If I know myself to be human, there leaves a 4/19 chance caberet is a wolf, in which case she would probably be voting for a human, although there's 15/19 chance I would accidentally choose a human also.
Or I could assume both prior incidences were coincidence, not overthink, and just vote for seer protection... I'll think about this and be back later to decide for sure.

Oops, my person had already posted. Changing to Shadows, who hasn't shown up yet. (At least not that I have seen yet)
Oops, that puts her in a tiny majority. Ugh, I'll come back later to check things.

I don't think it's coincidence. I've noticed it with other players as well, not just 4demo.
We should collectively decide who we want to shoot the most (or we could eliminate all the ones we don't want to shoot and choose one of the others) and have 4demo (or whoever else is at the top of the list at any point in the game) vote to shoot that person. This applies more so to round 1 when everyone likes to go MoO and 4demo's vote decides who is shot. From round 2, ppl generally have more things to go on, so majorities are more easily formed.
*cough* 2 votes on Shadows... so I 4demo's vote isn't as important now, unless she decides to start another majority.

So far, not so good a bunch of random fishvotes and pposts. Then again it is the first round I guess. Though I suggest we some up with a bit of a strategy sooner rather than later.

Just a few things:
4demo - I was the one who brought it up that you shot the two people in your last games at the randomiser, not LR.
And there is a small majority for Shadows at the moment, if no one realises. Just saying in case you guys missed it.

Aww. Ha. That's fair though. I don't remember saying anything like that recently, so I was wondering if I had been recently possessed by reason.Doesn't the randomiser only decide based on alphabetic-means when everyone has voted in a MoO? I remember it happening in a few of the games I was in, but the thing there was that the first person alphabetically was shot, not that the first person alphabetically (or as in this case, numerically) had power to decide who was shot. I guess this warrants a look-back to see what that theory entails.
I also don't know why there is a majority on Shadows. I would agree upon a majority if we had anything to go on, but I guess we're shooting in the dark the first round so a majority would be lost, not to mention how unwilling everyone seems to be. Lol. Shadows hasn't posted or been on today but she's likely to do so when she gets the time, I'd assume. The same can be said for Poe and Snow. Which reminds me how much I don't like inactive-wagonning. I'll cast a vote for Cab since no one has voted for her since and because she made the majority, though she says she'll change it.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
Just as long as 4demo doesn't vote for me again... wish I had a round of immunity in this game...LOL.
EDIT: I have changed my vote to Days, because she hasn't been online in 2 days.

Ugh, wiser. I voted for Days as well. I'll change my vote to someone who hasn't been active so far this round and isn't already being voted for...juliana.
It's really hard to get a wolf vibe from anyone right now, so I'll watch the posts as the game progresses, which I assume most people are doing now.

I was going to joke-vote for Stewie, but that's already been done.
So I'll just random-vote for cinnamon30.

Since there are mini-majorities forming now, I'll go ahead and vote for J-Boy, who has not yet received any votes (so no crazy issues with me potentially tilting majorities-of-two!).

Hey guys. Sorry I'm late in posting. Was out of town for part of the day, then when I returned home, husband had the computer apart. So . . . here I am and ready to vote. : ) I'll vote for someone that hasn't been voted for yet. Let me go see . . . . . Ok, voting for talenpoe this round.

Maybe snowy just didn't see his post. Hopefully she can get on before the round ends to explain.
Edit: I see we're back to MoO.... which means that as it stands, J-Boy will most likely be shot.
I'm too tired to analyze ppl's posts. Has anyone noticed any suspicious behaviour yet (apart from snowy's post).

Maybe snowy just didn't see his post. Hopefully she can get on before the round ends to explain.
Snowy didn't say anything strange though. She said she'd vote for a player who hadn't yet received a vote, which Poe hadn't. She never said she voted for Poe because he didn't vote or post. Softball said that and, yes, that was a slip-up (most likely human, but yes, doubtfully but possibly wolf). I guess we're eager for something to go on. Let's just not lose our heads, so soon.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
I should have gone to sleep hours ago. Clearly, I need it.
Goodnight ppl. I hope we get lucky this round.
Goodnight ppl. I hope we get lucky this round.
Looking through two of the games where 4demo cast a vote in a majority, I see that theory working. Two out of two isn't that great, but it's nothing to disregard, either. I don't even know why that would be implemented into the game as, glitch or not, it gives an unfair advantage to certain players (assuming everyone is in a MoO, true, but still, that's not unlikely).
Perhaps we should request a correction to this, if it hasn't already been brought to Jake's attention. Even if it's something he thinks is inconsequential and will leave for another day, it doesn't hurt to try. Although he has addressed an earlier question of whether a tied vote is more likely to shoot a human or a wolf with the following: "If there is a tied majority, I think it picks randomly." Not sure if this makes the theory merely coincidence or whether he was only referring to between humans and wolves or it is a heavily weighted randomness.

Oh, 4demo doesn't have some superpower afterall!
Dusk was falling, and the Cowboys intended to make their first attack on the poor Indians. Haven't they suffered enough? 17 bullets were hastily fired, spraying across the village, at both Cowboys and Indians, but only one bullet came in contact with someone. june12, happily walking back to her tent, felt a short and sharp pain through her chest. She looked down and saw blood dripping through her shirt. She didn't have time to speak, to cry for help. She fell to the ground in an effort to ease the pain, but before anyone noticed, she had passed on. The first casualty was an Indian, and a lovely one at that. May she rest in peace.
