clue for this round........Name all of new yorks offfical sports teams.
hum,an (wolf) prompt
Well, I can't very well give you a single quote that I love, because there are too maany to choose from. How about my favorite passage from a book instead?
''So!'' said Umbridge triumphantly. Harry realised she was standing just a few stairs in front of him, once more looking down upon her prey. ''So - you think it amusing to turn a school corridor into a swamp, do you?''
''Pretty amusing, yeah,'' said Fred, looking up at her without the slightest sign of fear.
Filch elbowed his way closer to Umbridge, almost crying with happiness.
''I've got the form, Headmistress,'' he said hoarsely, waving the piece of parchment Harry had just seen him take from her desk. ''I've got the form and I've got the whips waiting . . . oh, let me do it now . . .''
''Very good, Argus,'' she said. ''You two,'' she went on, gazing down at Fred and George, ''are about to learn what happens to wrongdoers in my school.''
''You know what?'' said Fred. ''I don't think we are.''
He turned to his twin.
''George,'' said Fred, ''I think we've outgrown full-time education.''
''Yeah, I've been feeling that way myself,'' said George lightly.
''Time to test our talents in the real world, d'you reckon?'' asked Fred.
''Definitely,'' said George.
And before Umbridge could say a word, they raised their wands and said together:
''Accio brooms!''
Harry heard a loud crash somewhere in the distance. Looking to his left, he ducked just in time. Fred and George's broomsticks, one still trailing the heavy chain and iron peg with which Umbridge had fastened them to the wall, were hurtling along the corridor towards their owners; they turned left, streaked down the stairs and stopped sharply in front of the twins, the chain clattering loudly on the flagged stone floor.
''We won't be seeing you,'' Fred told Professor Umbridge, swinging his leg over his broomstick.
''Yeah, don't bother to keep in touch,'' said George, mounting his own.
Fred looked around at the assembled students, at the silent, watchful crowd.
''It anyone fancies buying a Portable Swamp, as demonstrated upstairs, come to number ninety-three, Diagon Alley - Weasley Wizarding Wheezes,'' he said in a loud voice. ''Our new premises!''
''Special discounts to Hogwarts students who swear they're going to use our products to get rid of this old bat,'' added George, pointing at Professor Umbridge.
''STOP THEM!'' shrieked Umbridge, but it was too late. As the Inquisitorial Squad closed in, Fred and George kicked off from the floor, shooting fifteen feet into the air, the iron peg swinging dangerously below. Fred looked across the hall at the poltergeist bobbing on his level above the crowd.
''Give her hell from us, Peeves.''
And Peeves, who Harry had never seen take an order from a student before, swept his belled hat from his head and sprang to a salute as Fred and George wheeled about to tumultuous applause from the students below and sped out of the open front doors into the glorious sunset.
Long one, huh?

I think kids/teens are more likely to have that HP passage off the bat like that than adults. That would narrow it down to me, cg, sherlocky, rach, peindo, and bubbub. bgamer is cleared, why the vote on him?
I know I'm wolf (human) plus I was all for the potter vote in the beginning, and rach and bubbub strike me as human - given the limited length of posts from them compared to the length of the prompt response. That leaves cg, sherlocky, and peindo. On second thought, sherlocky probably belongs with bub and rach. cg is definitely smart enough to fake framing herself.
Its cg or peindo. Or bookworm, who now that I think about it seems like a very good candidate. I would suggest the shots go to:
1. Peindo
2. Bookworm
3. Cg
In that order.

Great job quick. clearing clue is in answer. By the way.... the you shot other human(wolf) so why see propmt? ill give it to you....but you already know pottercrazy was a human and what does that matter?
Here is prompt from potter...."When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
niether answered why.... btw i had this as my sig for a while.

Okay then, but why accuse bookworm, piendo and myself? Bookworm wasn't on at the time when it timed out, I don't think. She didn't log on until a little after I did, and I got on about 3pm mountain time.
Is this significant in any way, shape, or form?
I'm also wondering about the evidence aginst piendo and me. I can see myself being a suspect, because of my signature, but what about piendo? And how did you eliminate all those other players off your suspect list, coinjar? Are you human?
With something to think about, this is CG.

Just trying to narrow down the list a little...
Thought of another way. This is kind of a long shot but people who seem to be working in a group are less likely to be the sole remaining human. For example me and jj or cg and book are less likely than peindo or sherlocky.
Plus cg as I said in my post, I suspect you and book and peindo because a) you seem more likely to know HP better than the rest of us and b) you make longer posts than bubbub or rach. I guess you can only take my word for it that I don't know HP well enough to find and remember that passage.

Well, I did a little reserch, and having read the books, I bookmark all the parts I really like. That particular passage is from "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", because thats the only book where Umbridge is a major character. I looked online, and if you go to readfreeonline.com you can find the passage near the end. I don't think it was a matter of remembering the words, so much as 'cut and paste'.
Besides, it's pointless trying to claim you havn't read the books, because
a) nearly EVERYONE has read them,
b) we don't know you, so we can't tell if you are a HP nerd, or just a fashion reader (on who reads the popular stuff, like hunger games)
I have read the books, but I've only ever finished the series once, but don't worry, I'll probably do it a few more times this year.

Good point CG. Following the lead.
piendo: When I made that post, you had 3 votes, and bgamer had 2. I voted bgamer, because, for some reason, I highly doubt you are the human. It's more likely to be an inactive player, or one working from the sidelines, just watching and observing, but never making themselves known, which, obviously, you aren't doing.

Cg, I'd be willing to bet money that peindos read Harry potter. I mean, what 13 year old braingler who has reading in her hobbies hasn't read it!!? she seems way more likely to be HP fan than bub or rach. Sherlocky is back on the list.
Anyway, I never denied reading hp. In fact, I'll tell you I have read it, but I wouldn't have a passage like that ready in my mind.

Don't be too quick to judge. I love reading, as I have since I was in kindergarden, and I finally read the HP books just last year. I was 13 going on 14 when I began. I probaly would have read them sooner, but my parents terrorized me with the first 2 movies when I was really small, and I hated it. I got about as far as when Voldemort when he killed Lily and James, and when Harry met the creepy balisk. I also had no idea what was going on, so maybe that added to the problem. (I later watched all the movies, (after reading all the books) and then I understood them all much better.)
However, I ran out of things to read one day, and decided to take a risk and read the 1st book. Finished the series about a week later.
Don't judge. She may be like me.
