So much for koin being cleared.
Safety for buu
Safety for buu
Well, that was helpful. Safety for buu as well.
I believe jpost was definitely a mandatory because he's also in a WWG with me and he hasn't posted there, either.
It's JJPutz who has me interested. Did he vote without stating it in game, or is he perhaps our Boss/Rat?
I also don't understand how koin could be fired if he was our Candidate - unless his vote didn't save? A bit ironic that we was urging the rest of us to reconsider our votes, and he neglected his own. LOL
I'm going to safety for JJPutz right now 'til more conversation is under way.
Cure cancer or AIDS: that's a tough choice. I think I'd go with cancer, though, because it seems more prevalent and destructive, and it can strike from out of the blue. I'm not saying that accidents & misfortune can't inflict AIDS on someone, but there seems to at least be more concrete prevention for it. Still, hard decision! C'mon, kal, we need more light-hearted choices.

I'd probably want to cure cancer. I don't really care about helping people, though. But cancer is a genetic disorder and so if I discovered how to cure it, I would be the best person ever in the genetics universe.

Hmm, yeah the JJPutz thing is confusing. I'm assuming that Koin's vote just didn't save since mandatories are the only way to vote a non-lemming. And KM was with the majority vote.
For now, I will vote JJPutz as well.
The psych question is tough and both are so incredibly horrible. I'm unfamiliar with the science behind cancer treatments (I know of chemo etc) but there are so many different cancers one can have; is it not like the cold? (There are so many different varieties that there can't be just a single cure). I guess a cure for a malignant tumor would suffice all cancers....
I'm going to say a cure for AIDS; we have quite a few options for cancer patients but there's only one treatment for HIV positive folks and it doesn't prevent/stop AIDS, it just helps hold it back for a bit (although, has anyone heard about that baby who was supposedly cured of AIDS not that long ago?). Not to mention that, while most victims contracted it as an STD, there are those who were born with it or received it in a dirty blood transfusion, so there isn't a "concrete" prevention for AIDS, either. The disease is so debilitating (albeit, so is Cancer) - anyway, that's my reasoning behind it ^_^
EDIT: My vote has been saved.

I would find a cure for cancer, because it can be really unexpected at some times.

Sorry guys, I voted jpost last round, didn't get on till 10ish and voted and forgot to check back :/
Vote for buu as it appears I shall be cleared.
This WILL be my last WTB for the time being until I find the time for another. Sorry.

Just some stats to help the discussion...
7.6 million people die of cancer per year.
1.8 million die of AIDS.
1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime.
I don't know anything about that specific fact for AIDS, but 33.3 million people are living with AIDS right now.
So, I would cure cancer. It affects a lot more people and you would be rich.

Cure AIDS.
I think they discovered a cure for cancer back in the 1920's; a special diet, but it was never publicized because pharmacies would lose a lot of money because of it. Out of the 500 people put on the diet, only 4 died from cancer. The other 496 were cured within the course of a few months.
I say cure AIDS, and publicize the cure to cancer.

Wait, no. Because if it is 6/13, then it's still a clear. Because if the boss claimed to vote in the majority, then the boss isn't koin. So it would be 7/13, or a clear. Assuming everyone voted for who they said they would.
Also, only 11 voted. So worst case, it would be 6 or 7 out of 11, which is a clear. Because 2 employees ( unless one was the rat?) didn't vote. Let's just say koin's clear, especially if people who voted for him are fired.
Of course ...
I'd say cancer, too. Cancer has lots of forms, so it's much better value than AIDS. Safety for JJ too.

The exact number of votes needed to clear someone haas been a major topic of discussion in a lot of my WTB games. I only just now got one of the comments posted in like my 2nd game...
We're actually doing a project on cancer for school right now. We had to make a video advertising Relay For Life. Do you guys want to see the one I made in an hour because my group member didn't show up? Here. The girl who's talking is one of my friends, but not me. Just FYI.

Nicely done video, kitty. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's grandma, but at least the diagnosis was useful as a personal appeal. I hope your RFL team(s) get a lot of support!

Chrissy I like your conspiracy theory....I REALLY do....that said....I can cure AIDS!!!! and I have facts...STOP HAVING SEX!!!! how many popes have died of aids????answer ZERO.....If you dont exchange bodily fluids with some one you will be aids free...THIS IS a fact....However Cancer takes on a widespread problem where more research might be important..
No where close to a clear assuming the rat and boss where in the putz vote we have nothing....except maybe Putz is less likely!!!! I will probably be fired so .....
lily will be a mandi...or the boss
Chunnie,,,,No comment I am taking the high road...
buu maybe
Yuffie probably employee
4wheels mandi or boss
Roid ...who knows....

Thank you, I tried. I just pulled some "emotional piano music" off Youtube and lined it up with the pictures and everything.

Well, we don't have a hard majority but if anyone who voted for JJPutz gets fired (assuming they were telling the truth) he could potentially still be cleared. Sorry I don't have more to add to the conversation =/

True, but as I said, you don't only contract AIDS through sex - infants can get it from their mothers and back in the 80's etc, the blood transfusions & organ donations would also create victims (although I hope that's a non-issue now). But yes, cancer is much more widespread so if there was a single cure to end all forms of cancer, that would be more helpful. But I feel it wouldn't be that simple & if you divide the 7.6 million victims into all the different cancers & could only cure one form of cancer, I think the 1.8 million AIDS victims would end up being more people saved by a cure.... Still, a cure for either one would be wonderful
