I have made a little headway with the next challenge. I have deciphered the first 2 clues. I am having trouble finding the word to use for #2 to solve number 3. Does anyone know of a way to search Vocab Builder for words?

There is no way to search the Vocab Builder for words as i know of but i find google help a lot.
Also, try to search exact phrase by using ""

I think #2 could be heraldry but how does that fir for a rail fence cipher.
Sorry to see GA as the sacrifical lamb...
I think you need to complete the vocab builder to actually be about to see them. I've done about 30
Here is Dictionary.com's definition of heraldry

I have tried heraldry, crest, family crest, & insignia. There are 3 ciphers on Braingle that use a keyword Hadleigh. I find it interesting how Giz uses Caps for some or make some of them look like a rail fence or some other code braingle uses.
Knowledge is not power. The USE of knowledge is power.

I've tried adding the value of the letters and applying that to the rail fence
heraldry is 91.... it didn't work

heraldry is NOT the answer
AND it is NOT rail fence
cin points out something very important.
There are THREE kind of cipher that use keywords and Gizzer used THREE kinds of way to write her cipher
2 letters, CAPS and others

Ok, I must admit ignorance here. I know that Keyword and Playfair use keywords, and Braingle offers auto-solve programs for those, but I can't for the life of me find the third one. Vigenère, Beaufort, Autokey, and a few others all use keywords, too, but don't have the solvey doo-dads. ... Ugh does this mean I'm going to have to do actual work? Back to the grindstone, as they say.

I haved deciphered #3, but it makes no sense to me. I cannot find any word to refer the meaning to. I tried searching google using quotes, but it doesn't give me any links.
Edit to add: I believe I may have solved it. Awaiting confirmation from Giz.
Edit again: I have solved it. I am placing a vote for Shriya. There is not a lot to go on as for who the wolves may be. The discussions have been around the challenges.

Yay for second chances! LOL I can vote now, too.
Cinn is right - we haven't been discussing possible wolves. We can't rule out active & helpful players bc it's in the wolves' interest to get voting rights, too. And the Humans will try to keep the smart, helpful players around so the clues can be solved. We have great activity and interest in this game, so shooting is gonna be rough.
I won't vote yet. Since this round's challenge was time-consuming but not really difficult, we should have plenty of voters and a good amount of time to discuss options.

I am sorry for letting you guys down but the challenge seems rather hard. Not to mention that with the ongoing exams(and I'm down with cold and fever), I am going to give this one a miss.
Actually this challenge wasn't so bad. Like Elios said it's more time-consuming than tricky. They're all pretty straightforward and only three ciphers are used. (I was confused by Tan's clue because at the time of reading I thought I had the right cipher - which I had - but I read it as though we had to use to three ciphers on that single clue instead)
We still have time so I won't lock in a vote yet. I'll be back later to see what's up.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

I don't know if it'd be saying too much to say which of the ciphers are auto-solvable on Braingle, but like Tan and Cinn said before, there are only 3. The first is rather obvious, the second is partially mentioned in the 2nd hint (not sure if that's the point of the hint though..), and the last is one in a group of two (and also the one I overlooked at first).
Still not sure what to do about voting. I have my suspicions but I'm usually wrong. Will hold off a little longer.

If you solve this round's challenge, you can change your vote. Once you get the flow of copy/paste/Google, it only takes a few minutes. I can't find the keyword even after translating the first one. I really feel dumb.
How do we use the last hint?

Aww, no. Don't feel dumb. The first sentence is the definition for the first keyword. So once you've translated it, you have to figure out what word it is defining (kinda like the game show Jeopardy). Tan's tip will make this really simple to figure out by using Google - quotation marks (" ") around a word/phrase will have Google search for exactly what you typed.I have no idea what the last hint is. Explanation:
1. Le battement de tambour, ou l'appel de clairon, au point du jour, donner avis que c'est le temps pour les soldats pour s'élever, et pour les sentinelles pour abstenir défier.
Translating from the French: The beat of drum, or bugle blast, about break of day, to give notice that it is time for the soldiers to rise, and for the sentinels to forbear challenging ~ reveille
2. bd nb np ab lg nd ug lg ne rd ef rb el un ne hb ga rs kn
Using reveille as the keyword in the Playfair cipher: A coat of arms; an armorial bearing or bearings. ~ blazonry
3. UFAIEMRK PSNEFSCT LOSCPOOS NRELOHLN PEDLSWUG ESSYNAEW SOPOSTNE MPIAREPZ
Using blazonry as the keyword in the Columnar Transposition cipher: PLUMPNESS OF PERSON SAID ESPECIALLY OF PERSONS SOMEWHAT CORPULENT (SKZGNWE = junk letters) ~ embonpoint
4. Sj varas jpsnh, sj qnrjqs sj jpsnh jq temasueffy.
Using embonpoint as the keyword in the Keyword cipher: To visit often; to resort to often or habitually. ~ frequent
5. ag rm rw rm db il en yf er bn qm tg ma lu um te db il en tb gq yk bn qa wp ah df kq vn qg ky kq ix te ik ql rk te hr ul hq au vy
Using frequent as the keyword in the Playfair cipher: The leveling of a surface or the preparing of an air space by means of strips of board or of larger pieces (x) ~ furring
6. Blppcuhn; qblrecka; ipnfigth; bcinltq.
Using furring as the keyword in the Keyword Cipher: . Horrible; shocking; dreadful; hideous. ~ ghastly
7. MNNNCSP POIIIEI RKPGGGR NGJSPIM
Using ghastly as the keyword in the Columnar Transposition cipher: Compressing; nipping; griping. (JKM = junk) ~ pinching
8. Tbh kmtdml mg p skpjj strhpk rulldla pkmla mistruntdmls; pjsm, tbh kurkur dt kpfhs dl sm cmdla.
Using pinching as the keyword in the Keyword cipher: The motion of a small stream running among obstructions; also, the murmur it makes in so doing. ~ purling
9. CRGEEAR OASDIGM RFIEPBS HOAMHAT POHHOFE SRMETRN OBNDMRO OMLOENZ TEAOVNN OTSOERE ESCTLOH FFEHFRE HSNRETC FSTTOAM
Using purling as the keyword in the Columnar Transposition cipher: The process of branching, or the development of branches or offshoots from a stem; also, the mode of their arrangement. (ZM = junk) ~ ramification
10. ne da mh en on xc el ra it nd ny gw
Using ramification as the keyword in the Playfair cipher: The right to vote; franchise (x). ~ suffrage
Hints:
Parlez-vous français? is a clue that the first definition is given in French. Quel est un autre mot pour le thésaurus? What is another word for thesaurus? - this is an old joke, but Thesaurus.com is a good reference for synonyms and antonyms.
The key to playing fairly is NULCOM refers to the 3 ciphers used: keyword, playfair and columnar transposition (NULCOM is an anagram of COLUMN)
R8 B8 E10 F8 F7 G7 P8 P7 R12 S8 reveals the first letter and number of letters in each word.
