Welcome to Reunion! As you can see, the psych prompts are up! Sorry for the delay, I've actually spent th day out volunteering at a day camp today and have a busy night tonight! Glad things are going, though. Have a great time, and I'm a bit jealous I don't get to play with you.
Water boy: Do not try and bend the water. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Water boy: There is no water.
water is not something i have much experience with but in my opinion is one of the most amazing things we have in this world. water is more denser at 3 degrees celsius than at 0 degrees (as a solid). no other liquid has this property. if this were not true all ice would sink to the bottom as it froze, causing the whole ocean to turn to ice. how lucky we are.
I've always loved the water. I drink a lot of it, and I also bathe in it, but most of all I love to swim in it. Well, maybe float is a better word. especially when at the Ocean. Love to watch the waves come in and go out, come in and go out...

Hey Witty, Randy, and anyone I missed! Just checked in and see that the game has started and that we have more great players!
Seeing you, Witty, sure brings back memories to a really challenging and great game! I'm sure you remember...
Since nothing has been posted yet, I'll be back later to post again.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Jeeze, of all the days to start, ya hafta pick the day I won't be on a computer all day. Oh well. The formatting for my mod post might be off, but I'll make sure to get my prompts live here in a bit. Thanks for joining to our new players, and may the reunion begin!
Oh, and yes, Randy, there are only two wolves, I checked, unless you count me!

Froggy, I often recall that game. I was so darn close to winning, but you were just too smart.

I'm glad we've started!
On that note, I was wondering if this group of players votes for seer protection? I know that some people don't, and seeing as no one has voted, yet, I feel like this group does not. Therefore, until other people start logging on and posting their thoughts about this, I will hold my vote.
But, then again, I could be completely wrong.

I'm a human for the 1st time ever!
I feel my duty is to protect the seer, so SPV Limerick.

I don't like the sound of SPV - so I will just random vote. (I random voted for softball, before I looked at the discussion.)
I will likely change it in the morning. Oh drats - its already morning! past 1am! I need to get to bed!!
I don't know about this code that froggy and Witty seem to have going... reminiscing about old games... are you both wolves and giving each other the scent for who you want to eat at night???
And with that, I reckon I will be shot before I wake up, but just really wanted to get the game rolling. See their responses and sharpen your silver bullets everyone!
@TheLegend - - of course that's what a wolf would say you know.

Hey, I just wanted to check in and say I'm here. I probably wont really be on until later tonight though.

So glad the game has started. Thanks Witty for getting us going.
I know I probably should SPV, but will hold off for now. Mocha said she would be posting the prompts soon, so will wait for them. Be back later.

Well, I don't mind the SPV idea and I am about to head out to do some material shopping for my remodel that is in progress... be back later for changes if needed.

Whoa, we've started! And Mochs, we try :p
@Witty Oh thanks, of course you enjoy it after eating us all *betrayed*
@TheLegend Oh, you are in a reunion game, here we use anything and everything against you. Even the colour of your hair! What colour is your hair? Black, brown, or even red are pretty wolffish colors :p
I have missed psych prompts, though it really hasn't been that long since my last game with them...
@Jervis Whoa, pegged both wolves in round 1 without psychs, you ARE good.
For now, my vote goes to the inactive nicats
Psyched for psychs!

Alright, I'm going to SPV as well. Once the prompts are up, I will probably change my SPV, but for now, it will be random.

Not a code jervis - just about a game where it was down to my having the deciding vote with my voting for Witty after hours of endless deliberation. I managed to stick with my gut feelings and won it for the Humans!
I guess since everyone else has voted and it is just the 1st round, I had better place a vote as well.
I'll go with a vote for someone who doesn't have a vote yet - voting for Bobbi (Bradon).
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Interesting prompts. Gotta go with my gut on this one, the orange wolf has to be Jervis. I really don't know him very well, but for some reason it just sounds like him, especially the scientific facts (if they can be believed, I'd have to google it to confirm, though).
Blue wolf could be anyone, will have to give it more thought, but Tuku, maybe? Oh wait, she says she lives where the sun is seldom seen, so would she like to swim? She lists travel as an interest, so yeah, she could be blue wolf. But not as solid as Jervis being orange.

I am going to vote for Limerick as the orange wolf because he is sorta quoting the matrix and we were discussing it a couple weeks ago.

We're statrting to get a majority...
I don't know the players very well, so I'm focusing on HOW they interpret the psychs, and on the way they defend themselves...

Tuku, I agree that orange wolf does sound a lot like Limerick. He likes to use "in my opinion" as a qualifier. However, I also know that you know him well enough to be able to frame him, and he is often killed early in TWG. So... I am going to hold off on voting for him, at least for now. I will be placing a vote for Tuku.

Heh, interesting game so far... the orange prompt is like something I might write, water is actually densest at 4 degrees though...
Too obvious, I think for tuku to be framing me, she wouldn't be this blatant about coming after me this early... It pegs both her and I for the fall, one and then other...
And ugh, more denser, it is funny to picture tuku's face writing that xD
Fragment galore in blue wolf too :p I know many are not a fan of writing analysis, but, I still tend to rather like it, the capitalization of Ocean here is curious, a quick scan of posts right now gave me froggy as a possible based on her capitalization of Humans as a non-proper noun.
As for me and water, I would also fit blue well, anyone who knows me knows I can routinely down about 6 glasses at a meal... When out with friends, my friends always tell the waitresses to start me with three xD
However swimming in it? No, that does not fit me at all, I would just about choose any activity over swimming in water, going canoeing is much better than being wet.
Right now my vote will stay with Nicats.

Robin Hood, -yeah I know. I almost started the last post with "I'm sorry, Limer, but" :/
But when I read it I felt like I was talking to him. But I am also aware that people know him well enough to frame him.

After I read the prompts, I didn't really have a clue who could have written them, mostly because this is my first reunion game and I have only played with most of you in passing...
I have never seen The Matrix, so I had to look that segment in the orange wolf's answer up online. Because you guys seem to know each other relatively well, I feel like someone is trying to frame Limerick, as it would almost be too obvious for him to refer to the movie without someone bringing it up that he likes it.
I agree that the capitalization of ocean is something to look into, though it could've been a typo on a smartphone or something, right? It also seems strange that they capitalized the beginning of all of the sentences except for the one with ocean in it...

Wow it's been so long for me (I think I played reunion 6&7). I forgot that I'd need to frame someone if I was a wolf. I had to re-read the blue wolf three times because it sounded almost exactly like what I wrote. The only thing was I said different was i really enjoyed it when it came out of the freezer on a hot day. I would have said the beach rather than the ocean.im a beach lover here in Sydney and lived by a number of them over the years. Now I'm stuck at the base of the blue mountains, an hour to get to the closest beach.
@bradon, yeah sort of my style but not really. I know ice floats hehe. And the very last sentence of orange wolf is not quite how I'd have worded it, I'd have said "How lucky are we!" A bit more elevated.
Now to focus on someone similar to me (blue wolf). So we are looking for a male, slightly over weight but very good looking.
@softball - good pick up there. I have been using my phone mostly the last few weeks and occasionally I have that problem when I change my mind. I delete words and if I delete a capital it auto capitalises next time even if it's not at the beginning of sentence, sometimes not even the beginning of the word!
Ok I am split between a few people. I will have a think and change my vote.

I actually don't know whether Limer likes The Matrix, I just know we discussed it. And if he does like it, I'm not sure it's common knowledge. The only reason I know he knows it is because we discussed it once. But the style of writing is like his.

As far as the psych's... nothing jumps out at me, so I almost need to trust some of the other insights. I do see where both Limerick and Jervis say the posts look like them - - - seems like bold honest statements, sort of a "in your face" call.
I thought about changing my vote, but my conviction right now for one of these possible wolves, is not real high, but the night is young.

Ok I've thought about it a bit. I'm changing to Limerick. Don't shoot me for this RG, I know you're suss about me and it would be perfect if I were a wolf to turn on your other suspect. Hear me out.
I was thinking that I wasn't really knowing what the water prompt would do and so I answered it honestly. Had I realised that only the wolves prompts would get posted, then I would definitely have tried to frame someone. With that in mind, a number of others may have done the same. The blue wolf really does stand out, alarm bells go off. It would be way too calculated to be anyone else in that only tuku had the conversation and usually if you discuss something you really like, you might revisit it. I know i do with Before Sunrise. So either tuku has framed Lim to a tee, or Lim made my mistake. (Sending the prompt before roles were determined threw me off my game).
So my vote is for Limerick.
Edit: spelling from->frame

PS TheLegend SPVed for Limerick. So I'm really only forming a majority of two with tuku, provided TheLegend intended to change vote.
Haha, I don't really blame people voting for me, I probably would too knowing myself and someone has to go in the first round.
I am loving how much there is going on in this game, lots of accusations by people. This is the kind of game I like, no back alley random votes.
As far as the Matrix, about all I can really say about it is that I have seen it, I have a friend though ages ago who used to be really into it, she knew pretty much every filming glitch from it. Like reflections in glasses not matching up, tear on left sleeve switching to right, things like that. And yeah, without Neo and the change from spoon to water, I would have to look it up myself probably, though who knows, it is a fairly memorable scene.
Well, at any rate, Nicats still hasn't shown herself, so my vote will stay where it is for now. I need to pull up some of the old games' psychs and try to pin something down. And btw, new reunion members, the talk box is open to you and I think you will find a lot to go on if you are interested in getting to know us

I'm not comfortable with the majority on Lim, but also I have nothing to base my vote on, I'm switching to Nicats due to inactivity.
Anyway, I have an idea... I'm going to ask a question your answer will give me an insight about your personality, and it may help me to determine if you're orange or blue.
This question is directed to whomever wants to answer: What do you like about your ideal partner?

I will change my vote to nicats before I go to bed if she doesn't show up by then. I was looking forward to playing with her too.
Wow i checked last night on break and here i am checking again and the darn round is almost over!! Ha anywho voted limerick because 1 it clears me in a tie and 2 the orange wolf sounds most like him. Anywho lots of reading to catch up will prob do it when i get home.

Well, looks like I am still likely to be voted off the island and to try out the water first hand, but, let's see if I can figure anything out before I go :p
What do we know:
Orange Wolf:
Some knowledge of the Matrix seems safe. It seems unlikely that someone would just google random movie quotes, though... This one is rather odd, I am not really sure why it was chosen. It almost seems forced in, the quote itself is corrected by replacing all instances of water with spoon. If I were looking for a quote, I would look for one related with water... This one seems like it was forced into the Matrix, honestly looks like a frame job the more I think on it. Only one really trying to frame with it though is tukus, that doesn't fit for me...
Interest in science seems safe to say, although, anyone can look up a Wikipedia article for water, seems unlikely to choose this particular fact, googling vaguely for water facts, special water, etc, doesn't really gain the information in question, so they would either have to know it or have heard it. Water is actually at its densest at 4 degrees, and this is the notable fact, 3 degrees is incorrect.
Trying to hide identity, no one is typing in this manner, so, no caps, no nothing, we can safely ignore that, more denser perhaps even... Though I don't even like thinking more denser xD
Blue Wolf:
Always loved the water. This suggests possibly that the wolf in question grew up near the water. It could be an exaggeration, but I would guess it means they were exposed to it relatively young.
Drink a lot, bathe a lot... Well, drinking a lot of water tends to suggest a couple possibilities, hot temps, spicy foods, or a lot of exertion. Not sure we have much to go on there, but it could be helpful.
Swim vs float, we may be dealing with someone not as comfortable with swimming here as they back off from really saying swimming. Psych questions have to be honestly answered after all. Could also just represent literally floating, in which case I would lean more older than younger as I would think most of the younger crowd would be more swimmers, adults are more likely to just relax floating.
Ocean, this really points me froggy's direction, sorry, not a frame as froggy's line came after. Capitalizing a non-proper noun just seems out of place. No one else has done that this round.
Also of note is the very fact that this is ocean, not a pool. I would lean towards someone who lives near the shore. This is cited as a frequent event, not just when they can make the 400 mile trek.
Come in and go out, come in and go out... To me, this speaks of poetry. The person in question has a poetic mind to round it off like that.
Nicats has now chimed in, my vote will come off her as I have no further basis on that vote.
I would really like to figure out who would have written the Orange psych... But I really am at a loss to who fits it... I don't think, or perhaps just don't want to, tukus set me up. Jervis... In our recent TB games has gone far enough to convince me he is a possible for science, but the tone just doesn't read right for me...
I just don't read bradon as possible here either, RGW has the personality, but, I haven't seen him go sciency.. Nicats I don't see... Nor WittyKitty, she is plenty creative, but not in this direction.. Softball, I really only know from her intro post, but, doesn't ring right... tukus and jervis... But neither good fits...
For Blue, options are far more open.... Nicats I can see, bradon, I can see, I am leaning more heavily in their direction, the tone, age, just seem more right. But that said, I can really see almost anyone. I come back to Ocean again though... And am left leaning froggy's direction. It just feels to click.
Grr, if you turn out to be framing me tukus....
My vote for now will go to froggy.

RGW4 voted for froggygg
froggygg voted for bradon182001
bradon182001 voted for jervis
jervis voted for Limerick
Limerick voted for froggygg
TheLegend voted for nicats
nicats voted for Limerick
xxsoftballxx13x voted for WittyKitty
WittyKitty voted for tukuwakatiki
tukuwakatiki voted for Limerick
Loops = None
Well I could change my vote but it would most likely tie up a majority. Limerick seems truthful but as in the past he has seemed somewhat very helpful and ended up being the wolf. Will decide here shortly if I want to change or not.

ok read thru the rest of the post. Jervis your so funny. I would not miss this game for the world. I was so sick of peoples lack of trying to figure out wolves and just blindly voting cause they can. I have so missed the GOOD wolf games that everyone works together (or mostly) and doesn't just close their eyes when they vote.

I'm torn between Limercik and froggy, I could change to froggy if someone convinced me.
I don't have anything on froggy right now to convince you guess you will have to pretty much decide quickly on your own.
Edit
Changing to someone who is not voted for because I can't decide

Yeah, I'm going slightly nutty here too. I'm thinking I should switch to tuku, frame and hide. Cool tactic and hard to pick apart.
Edit: yes switched to tuku. I will give Limerick the benefit of the doubt right now.

The way things stand now, froggygg and Limerick are in a tie. I really don't feel comfortable breaking the tie since I am not very familiar with several of the players, this being one of a few Reunion games I've played. I hate having the computer pick, but it's the first round, so will leave things be and hope we have at least one wolf in the tie and the computer picks the right one.
Edit: Jervis was posting as I was typing. So froggygg and tuku are now tied. Again, will leave it be, let the computer pick. First round voting is always pretty much a roll of the dice.
