Good morning...
Well the boss decided to fire two employees yesterday... the boss sent them in to clean the bathroom and when they refused, they were fired on the spot! I will have a word with the boss later today on whether that was a good idea.
The rest of you will just have to get back to work and hope you are not approached to do something that could tick off the boss again.
Let me say two things about the firings... it sure would be a good thing if after you place your vote that you confirm whether your vote was saved and more importantly for the rest of your co-workers you state who you voted for. When I play, I usually vote, post who I voted for, double check that my vote was saved and then post "confirmed vote".
Do not read anything into this as to whether either of the fired employees had voted or not; and whether any stated vote was correct. I know there were comments last round about Wawa and if he had voted... I am not here to give any clue to what he may or may not have done... NONE.
With that said... how any player voted will not be disclosed by me this game. I was going to do that, but I posted that this was a standard game, and with that, it is up to all of you to figure out if a person voted or not and for each of you to follow your own instincts. Good luck.

Looks like scrub voted for Jayo and wawa could have been a manditory firing. No proof of these though. If Scrub did in fact vote for Jayo, then Jayo is cleared. He should stay out of any majorities for now, I guess.
Will place a safety vote for Gizzer for now. Subject to change.
As for the answer the boss gave, I am wondering something about froggy, but won't say anything as of yet.
Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

I guess we can at least tentatively clear Jayo for now. Not sure who I suspect with the memo,
NOTE:
I am leaving the country for the day so won't be online until later this evening. It is currently 1250 and we'll be leaving within the next hour or so.
Though I always have multiple means of accessing the internet with me, given the jump in prices for data once I cross the border I will not be actively online.
I will be back well before the round ends I hope to be back by 2100-2200 at the latest.
I will place a safety vote for SNOW until I get home and have had a chance to read what others have posted.

Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

I have to agree with you Snowy, this psych answer and the first one also, both sound like something Froggy would say. Will vote for Froggy based on that, and would be agreeable to forming a majority on her at this point.
Edit: Vote saved and confirmed.

Well, that' wasn't exactly where I was going with froggy. I'd like to hear her views on the psych answer first before I state my thinking on her.

Arr, seems we be havin' a lazy pirate among us, and the second scurvy sailer to enter Davy Jones' locker be an unlucky fellow. As fer the memo an' question, they could be from miss froggy, but this pirate has been away a while, so I chooses not to be too hasty in accusin'. I has no personal reasons to suspect anyone thus far, so I plans to follow the good wisdom of those among ye who know these sailors well enough. Fer my part, I has no favorite season. My home be the ocean, where seasons matter little.
Goin' over the previous posts, I says that enterin' a majority be a wise way to test the Boss's mettle, so fer now, I plans to vote fer the frog. Nothin personal, so please keep yer knife in yer boot, miss froggy lass.
I will now resume lurking silently.

I've figured it out - the Boss is Goldilocks!
I still agree with forming a majority. I also think the candidate should be selected early enough for everyone to vote accordingly. Last round, it took so long to decide who was willing to vote in a majority, we ended up with a MoO vote.
Since we have two votes for froggy, and both come from people willing to be in a majority, I will join the majority and vote for froggy.
Edit: vote confirmed

Well, since there's a third vote for froggy, I'll have to share my thoughts, even though she hasn't posted yet. Froggy lives in California, and has at times commented on the lack of rain, so the psych answer doesn't fit her. This was my thought on froggy and the answer. I was thinking that it may actually clear her. Thoughts?????

Well, I don't know much about ye all anymore, so I be lost about who the psych questions implicate or not. I just be willing to join a majority, so if we be right, boss be gone. If we be wrong, Then at least we has more information.

As far as a majority forming on me, I have no problem with that but you are all putting yourself at risk because I am not the Boss.
Snowy is correct - CA is in a serious drought now and I would welcome rain no matter what season it is. Don't most areas have rain beginning in the fall? Once upon a time, we did but it's been a long time.
Oh, and don't worry Radio - me dagger is still in me boot!
I keep thinking about the first Boss memo as it is so familiar to me from a previous game but I can't find it. I'm not really getting Boss vibes from anyone yet but I'm going to toss out a vote for Bobbi since she has played in most of the same games I have and might be the author of the memo from a previous game.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Snowy, I was thinking something along those lines... That in California they have less of a winter and more of fall that gets more rainy and grey that then turns into spring (at least in the places I have been). So the not-to-hot-not-too-cold goldilocks bit seems like froggy doesn't really get the cold bit. that doesn't ecxlude her from the possibility. As for the rain, I'm trying to remember what the rain bit said, but if it were that fall has rain, even in dry California they get more rain in the fall than in summer.
I still like the idea of a majority and don't have enough reason not to suspect froggy, so I will go vote froggy, check the rain, and be back to let you all know.

I tried to send that with my phone a few hours ago and it wouldn't go through. I have double and triple checked my vote for Froggy.
The rain was about the spring, I still think it does not rule her completely out.

When I read the pysch answer, I saw a choice being made between the spring and the fall in general. At best, it suggests a drier fall than spring, without saying how much rain. It could simply mean that fall rain is different than spring rain. Considering the Boss is supposed to word this in a way that misleads, I don't think the answer clears anyone.
You are right, it doesn't really clear anyone, I was just thinking that with the lack of rain in Cal., froggy would probably not even mention it at all. Even if one season gave more rain than another, in her situation, she'd welcome all rain. So, to me, I'm leaning froggy to be an employee. This is all I'm saying.

I am back! Did ya miss me? Had a great time shopping and got back though the border with no duty to pay so that was a bonus!

I tend to agree that if California is currently going through a drought (which I don't know if they are) than Froggy would likely want rain, and can therefore be somewhat cleared.
That being said, just because she has commented on it in the past does not mean they are currently going through a "dry season". IF they are currently having an adequate rainfall (or higher than normal rainfall) I can see her not liking it.
Though, I am more inclined to consider her cleared (at least for now).
I don't know radioguy well enough to have thoughts one way or the other so will bow to those of you who do know him for some insight.
I will leave my vote as is for now (snowy

Wow, 9 hrs with no posts. Not sure were we've left things, are we forming a majority on Froggy or not?
Sort of pointless since many of us agree it is unlikely that she is the boss.

Checking in before I head out for the day.
Sure hope Jayo shows up before the end of the round. Only 3 hours, 30 minutes to go.

I was out with friends last night, and then I came back just in time during me work break. Too late to change me vote, so we'll see how this turns out.

The week-end has come upon us and I know how busy most of us get... however, it is necessary to have one round that ends during the week-end. I hope everyone will have time during Saturday to make it on Braingle and make your vote count. I believe I should consider starting this round approximately 6:30 PM PST... so if tomorrow is going to be a problem for you, you might have a chance (at least on the east coast) to get in your votes.
The next round will be postponed as much as possible so it does not start before Monday sometime. It may start just after midnight Sunday night... but at least it will be Monday on the west coast. It is possible it may not start until later in the day on Monday - time table will have to be looked at.
I have an important job at a commercial building some 35 miles from my home on Monday morning, so I will be up early and may have to just get out of the house and go. Consider this a warning in advance!
When you Love someone, Love them with all your heart as you never know what can happen today!
