First off, congrats to the victory dancing employees who thwarted off the cruel firings of the boss.
I also would like to thank Habs and Gizzer for trying their best to win the game. I hope there are no hard feelings for their play; it is the nature of the beast and they played it well.
And Habs, love the way you took my comment out of context about the rat last round, you failed to add the words of the next paragraph where I started with, "If the rat is gone..." my explanation was trying to say how many rounds were left, I did not say with any certainty if the rat was still in the game or not.
Hope you all enjoyed it and hope to see you again in another thrilling boss game!

Froggy, I nominate you for player of the game. Without your comment about how you could not be fired, I don't know if I would have stopped voting for Giz.

Good game everybody. After I was fired, I realized my mistake in saying Habs didn't eat meat, I realized she always said she didn't eat a lot of meat, chicken maybe? Then when she brought that up as a way to try and clear herself, I knew she was boss. Giz had to be the Rat. Anyhow, in a 10 player game, it's really hard to be boss, so you played it very well.
Thanks for modding, Randy.

Oh well ... I tried!
And for the record I HATE NASCAR. It bores me to tears, but given that every guy I've ever dated has been a fan of it, CART, or F1 I know enough about it to fake my way through a general discussion.
Poulty (well not all poultry, chicken and turkey really) is the only meat I eat with any regularity, I eat it almost every day. I don't eat much in the way of vegetables either, really only corn and potatoes. Like "Mikey" I hate everything.
I had no idea who my rat was, especially this last round when all thee of the other players were stating votes for me .... Oh well, can't win them all I guess.
Good game all, and thanks for moderating Randy. You did a great job for your fit time out.

Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

Well, was I fired because of my questionable flipflopping or because I was seriously suspecting HABS? My only mistake was suspecting Mocha more.
Good game employees!
Thanks for Modding Randy. You did great!!

Habs, I figured you knew Gizzer was your rat at the end of round 2... four people had stated a vote for Froggy, but only three were on the firing list. When I have been boss before, that was what I always was looking at... other than the obvious way with a MoO vote. Even Gizzer said something in round 2 about a MoO vote for round 1... I was wondering if she was trying to point it out or curious whether it happened, so that you might know she was your rat. By the way, we did not have a MoO vote in round 1... Wawa voted for Jayo along with Scrubs; just didn't post who he voted for, this was why I reminded players it was a good idea to state who they voted for and then confirm the vote.

Snow, my choices of firing were you and Mocha. Mocha voted Gizzer, of if I fired her Gizz would be a clear. IF however I fired you, it wouldn't be as obviol a clear as you flip-flopped and there would be room to question who you actually voted for.
I never fire (or eat) someone that suspects me in either game, unless I have no chance. Makes it more fun to face the challenge of players who suspect me than those who do not.
I am questioning Gizzer's statement in the final round that I must be the boss.... I understand the rat voting for the boss early on when it is unlikely to do any harm, but why would you openly state a vote for me before anyone else did in the finial round of the game?

Great game everyone! For some reason, I never suspected Gizzer of being the Rat but did think Habs was the Boss. Glad I was right on that one! Great play to both Gizzer and Habs.
Thanks for a great job of modding, Randy!

Well, I just couldn't stay in a majority when I felt Gizzer wasn't the boss - that would give the boss clear options on who to fire. With firing me, you did clear Mocha, which was a bonus for the employees. For some reason, she was acting more like the boss than you. lol To me, my change of voting wasn't "flipflopping" but going with my gut, trusting froggy wasn't the rat and in my mind, clearing gizzer of being the boss.

Firing mocha would have cleared Gizzer, and I was hoping there would be doubt about whether or not you actually changed your vote as intended or that maybe you hadn't locked it in.
Thought I had more to gain with you over mocha.. Guess I was wrong..

If you had known Gizzer was your rat, you wouldn't have wanted her cleared either.

Oh well, you guys found me out - but it took you to the final round to do it, so I must have done an okay job hiding.
Randy, I suspected it was Gizzer, but didn't want to make any assumptions (did that in another game and it ended up costing me the game as I was wrong and the player i kept around thinking they were my rat, put the nail in my coffin in the final round. When she stated that she thought I was the bos then I figured I had been wrong again and left it at that.
I don't worry too much about the rat, figure let them do they job quietly and hope for the best.

I was so excited when I saw I was the boss. It is my favourite role!

I feel bad for not being 100% here this game... it is hard to activly participate when the only times I have to sit down and think are while nursing... which means I only have one hand to type. But, it was great seeing everyone again!!! I miss you all!

Hey Gizzer, have you been watching the news? What the ____!?! Two soldiers run down in the street in Québec the other day by some convert, now gunshots at the National War Memorial on Parliament Hill and in the House of Commons. One gunman has been killed. IT is insane. Scariest part is the French dude at least, was FROM here, he was a white kid, brainwashed by the extremists. Haven't heard anything about he guy killed on the hill yet.
Ottawa isn't even that far from here, maybe 6 hrs. They will likely target TO next and that is getting too close for comfort.

Argh, I'm glad we won, and I suppose I could've done better meself, but it be difficult when I can only sail with ye at night, or during me work breaks. Argh, good game all. Grog all around!
I will now resume lurking silently.

I'm just now getting home. I spent the day running tours out to Peggy's Cove. So, I am just getting caught up with the news, and with the final hours of the game.
I didn't realize that HABS didn't know I was the Rat. It explains why she didn't behave the way I expected. I assumed HABS would point the finger at me in the final round. I had no other option but to point the finger at HABS, as froggy and mocha were cleared. I thought we had it when mocha said she was voting for me. When she switched, I "thanked" froggy for helping, hoping mocha would think froggy was my Rat, but it didn't work. Oh well.
No hard feelings at all from my end!
Thanks for the enjoyable game, Randy.

I could tell that Gizzer was trying to sway at least one vote to her on the last round with the comment stated about "Thanks". Gizzer, I really felt you had a good hold on the game and played it perfectly. I too am a little surprised to hear Habs did not really know you were her rat... but even in the round you voted for Froggy, I could see how someone may have just thought you either failed to vote for froggy or changed your vote. MoO votes are the rats best friends, and we did not have one.
Anyway, I really thank all of you for playing in my first boss mod game. I could see doing it again in the future, but definately not right away.
When you Love someone, Love them with all your heart as you never know what can happen today!

Thanks, Randy. I only wish I could have pointed out the flaw in froggy's reasoning. She said the only reason she wasn't fired was because she voted for the Boss. As she pointed out herself, she voted to stay out of a majority. That alone would be a valid reason why she wasn't fired. Unfortunately, that would have meant claiming that snowy and I were both employees, and the only ones in danger, but that would clear myself and mocha, which I obviously couldn't do.
Edit: And for the record, folks - I never lie about my vote. If I am Boss or Rat, of course, I have to lie about voting at all. But I never say I will vote for one person, and then vote for someone else.

I pretty much had you cleared Gizzer in round 4, when you wanted a clear majority on you. From the list below, the only ones not voting for you were froggy, who was cleared, and wanted to stay out of the majority and of course you. To me, there was no way you could be the boss, so that is why I changed my vote to Mocha, because at the time, I suspected her more than anyone - so in my eyes, you and froggy were cleared, and once I was fired, Mocha was cleared, which left HABS as boss. Froggy did vote to stay out of the majority, but at that point the employees didn't know if she were the rat or not. Overall, it was a pretty interesting game.
