Thank you, Radioguy.
Story:
Murgar could not rest that night. Something dimly perceived in the Weave of Fate kept him from surrendering his consciousness to the peaceful oblivion of sleep. Instead, he found himself pacing his quarters, musing over what could be interrupting his rest so. As he was moving to his storage chest of spell components to attempt some magical means of gaining the sleep he needed, it fell upon him.
With a swiftness born from years of experience, Murgar spun to face his attacker, an emergency wand flying to his hand. A bolt of energy sprang into existence and flew towards the foe. It hit the figure squarely but was suddenly absorbed, harmless and feeding the fiend with its energy. [to be completed soon]
Notes:
Everyone still alive gains one Gift point in addition to those you already possess.

The Dark of Night has finally lifted! I fear that those evil Liches are still about! We must stop them before we are all destroyed!

I agree. We need to draw them out.

No No No, Why Lunasa and Murgar? They were our spokespeople. Without them there is a sad silence.

There is something not right about this. I will have to check the previous levels to see who was acting suspicious.

Well, this has been a boring round. Time to liven it up.
-—-—-—-
The day seemed like another kind of night to Modul. For as night is devoid of light, this day seemed devoid of any sound. The silence stung against Modul's ears, and he sensed the cold of death, though the sun brightly shone in his face. Modul sadly stared at a patch of colorful flowers, and he only noticed gray. The only sound to be heard were Modul's own muffled footsteps. They alone seemed so loud to Modul that he thought he would go deaf. It seemed foolish to attempt to sneak about in broad daylight on open plains, yet Modul was trying to do just that. He really hadn't thought of how conspicuous he looked. As Modul walked, he thought of what he had dreamt the night before. Everything was just the same. This was the same trail he had dreamt of walking down, and he fancied everything sounded the same. As he passed a fern, he froze to take in his surroundings. He suddenly remembered how the next part of the dream went. A breath of fresh wind from above would have been inconsequential in other circumstances, but Modul remembered that from the dream too. As he walked, he counted his steps. He thought it was about ten steps from the fern that the bee attacked him in the dream. The bee wasn't important, other than it being a childhood fear Modul had long since overcome, but it WAS in the dream. If he was really re-living the dream again, perhaps...
Or perhaps not? Ten steps. No bee. Modul took a deep breath. It was all in his head, he told himself. He took another step. Suddenly, he heard the buzzing sound! He could already feel the welt on his neck. Not this time! In a flash of movement, Modul whirled around and grabbed in the air, crushing the bee in his fist! Modul shook off his now slimed hand, and wiped it on his robe. He couldn't get rid of the deja vu. Perhaps this was a dream within a dream? Everything seemed too familiar. Suddenly, the ground underneath Modul seemed harder than usual. He stopped, and looked behind himself. Just like the dream! His trail of footsteps had stopped several feet behind him, and he was no longer even able to depress the soft ground with his own weight!
What happened next happened quickly. A blinding flash of light filled all of Modul's vision, and he felt a strange sensation of dropping to the ground and rising into the air at the same time! Modul was now above the ground, staring down at his own charred body! A column of air near his corpse began to shimmer and vibrate, and a dark Lich materialized, laughing maniacally! Just like the dream, the figure was hooded so Modul could not see any facial features. Modul knew what would happen next, but he was determined it would not be so. Already feeling a strong tug from above, Modul grabbed his wand from the folds of his robe, and screamed every incantation he knew as he fought the pull. At last he was free! He charged at the hooded figure, still laughing over the corpse! He tore the hood off! The figure shrieked, and invisible forces threw Modul back! Modul gaped in horror at the contorted and deformed face. It couldn't be, could it? Suddenly, the forces from above that had grabbed him before had found him again, and he saw the world shrinking away, the unhooded Lich cursing at his departure...
Then there was bright light. The light took the form of a human figure, though the features were drowned out by the light. The figure spoke soothingly to Modul.
"Welcome to the Astral Skies, beloved Mage. Here you may..."
"I know!" Modul interrupted in irritation, continuing with an unflattering impersonation of the bright figure's voice, "Here you may rest for eternity free from the curses of mortality! I've heard this before!"
The figure gave a start, but continued in an almost impossibly soothing voice, "But you couldn't have! No one ever returns from the Astral Skies. You can't possibly have been here before."
"I certainly have!" Modul exclaimed. "I dreamt of this place before!"
The bright figure seemed to darken, but Modul realized it seemed that way because the figure had drawn so close to Modul that he could no see the figure's face. A beautiful female face stared at him in confusion. Modul thought he saw a hint of anger.
"Impossible! You don't have the gift of Supernatural Sight!"
"But I have! The High ArchMage Essiska gave it to me!" Modul countered.
The figure was now quite visibly angry. "This isn't right!" The figure's face began to contort and darken, and the white robes turned gray.
Modul was always bad at reading subtle hints, but this time he knew that this wasn't going to end the same way as his dream did before. Suddenly, all the bright light disappeared, and he was standing back on the ground. The figure was the same Lich! Modul's corpse still lay there, but now it was quite rotten! Modul stared at the Lich. This time, there was no mistaking the true identity.
"Kethry!" Modul exclaimed. "It is you! You are one of the Liches!"
"Of course I am!" Kethry sneered.
"Then I know this is all a dream, and when I wake up, I will destroy you!"
"You may be able to see these things, but you can't make people believe you!" Kethry spat as she sneered.
"I will try!" Modul countered. "So help me, If I die, I will take you and all your evil down with me!"
"When you die, the others will be left alone without your gift! Not even Essiska can give that gift to another!" Kethry fumed.
"I may die, I may not! Lunasa may have been one of yours, and if she was, then your death will be the end of the Lich!" Modul proudly declared.
"You never saw Lunasa's true identity!" Kethry fumed.
Modul laughed. "Of course I haven't. But you could only tell me that if this was a dream. All the same, your interactions with Lunasa make it plausible that you will be the second Lich to die!"
"Never!" Kethry screamed, then lunged at Modul!
Modul countered with a bolt of energy from his wand, but to no avail. As Kethry's claws closed on him, Modul screamed, "When will I ever wake up?"
"Perhaps never!" Kethry replied.
Then Modul woke up, covered in sweat. He knew the truth about Kethry for sure now. He hurried to warn the others...

Okay, excuse the triple post, but now I want to explain some things. Yes, I'm the Seer. I would've passed on my knowledge of Kethry anonymously using a Telepathy power, but my PM to Valcrist was unanswered and I tend to be impatient (a flaw of mine). So yeah, If Kethry is not the Last Lich Left, I'm Minced Mage Meat tonight.
The reason why I think Lunasa (Dina) might have been a Lich (I was not fortunate enough to divine her in time) is because of the way Kethry has interacted with her. When Lunasa immediately suggested to vote out an inactive in Round 1, Kethry hopped on the bandwagon without hesitation, openly stating to be in agreement with Lunasa. Now of course, if Kethry was a Mage, then that behavior may have been an attempt at speeding the game up by shedding an inactive, but the knowledge that Kethry is a Lich changes that. Suddenly, there's no better motivation to vote off inactives other than bringing the Liches that much closer to victory. Then in Round 2, when suspicion came on Lunasa, Kethry eventually joined, this time openly stating agreement with everyone else. Perhaps that vote was an attempt to protect herself from suspicion in later rounds?

Modul I think you are wrong about Lunasa being a Lich. At the end of last round Valcrist in his story wrote " Lunesa was executed in vain! "
Looks like people have lost interest in this game or are busy with real life.
Kethry has a nearby active Volcano to worry about.
Qubert only logs on about twice a month.
The Unnamed logs on but does not post
Ophelia has not logged on since yesterday
Silere post but does not say much
even the High Archmage Essiska has disappeared
I fear that there is some BLACK MAGIC from the UNDEAD LICHES at work here!!
Anyways, You may be the Seer or you may not. I have been fooled a few times by wolves claiming to be the seer. I will ponder a bit more before I vote. Hopefully someone else will post before the round ends.
Edit: Great stories by the way, from High Archmage Essiska & Modul
