Well, let me state the obvious for everyone: Har is a wolf. However, the question is whether we should shoot him now or search for the rest. I personally like the plan of keeping him alive until the end, that way we have a surefire extra round to work with.

I am not sure if night timed out or not,, but if it didn't it was close. The wolves may have planned to have night time out to point us in the direction of an inactive player as a wolf. I think I will just place a random vote for now.

While I'm going back to look through last round, mind an explanation?

The night timed out. I know because I was timing it. It ended exactly on the dot it was set to time out. Har is the only person who didn't sign in at all today. Therefore, we can have the assumption that he is a wolf.

I have no clue. This is the only game I've played with him too, but it's always good to have an ace in these games.

NO NO NO, people keep saying this and I have to keep reminding people, the wolves have a talk box...they can plan and strategize, so 2 out the the 3 wolfs voting for one person and the 3rd not voting so night times out is completely possible...I'm not defending har, just saying to condemn him as a wolf just because night timed out isn't enough...

I agree totally, that is not to say Har isn't a wolf, but his not being on could be coincidental. As I pointed out as well as Grizzly, the wolves could have planned to have night time out. I think we should leave Har alone for now. My vote for Fawn is totally random and does not mean I suspect her in the least. She has been quiet so far, but not reading anything into that.

If you don't agree with me, fine. I'm just saying that Har is extremely large in my book of suspects right now. Also, if the wolves strategized their play so that the night would time out, then they were really pushing the doubt factor in my opinion. What are the chances that the night just happens to time out, and Har is the only person to not sign in?

I agree with those that feel it's more than likely a set up for SirHar. I've seen it done many times. Wolves will purposely allow the night to time out, so those that have not logged on yet, will look like wolves. This is not to say SirHar can't be a wolf - it's just that it's too early to tell if he is or is not, and can't base our decision of him, on how the night round ended.
I will place another SPV vote this round, but not until later. At this point, I don't have any suspicions.

Thanks everyone who helpedme not to get shot last round. I just couldn't get on in time to check if the game had started or not. Quite different to Sleepless Nights 8! It is likely that the wolves will use an inactive as cover to let the rounds time out now. I will SPV for now but that is subject to change.

UNLESS . . . we have VERY clever wolves who let the night time out on purpose to make it look like SirHar is a wolf, knowing it would make some of us doubt that he really is and not vote for him when in fact he really is a wolf.
I personally doubt that Har is a wolf, and don't even know it was him that was being set up - it is a fairly good bet someone will not log on especially during the early rounds, the wolves were just playing the odds of this happening and trying to set up whomever that happened to be.
I hae a few ideas but it is still early in the game. As I don't know this player and have never (to my recollection) played with him/her I am not sure if what I am seeing as suspicious may just be the way he/she plays.
I most likely won't be back for 7-8 hrs but will be back on as soon as I get home.

EXACTLY, that is why I personally don't like using log in times to determine anything, just because someone is online does not mean they are playing the game. One of our "inactive" wolves may be very active indeed.

No,, not Mimsey. I was thinking that Yeti may be a wolf. As I stated, I have never played with him, but I find it interesting that in the first round, he was adamantly opposed to voting off Python for being somewhat inactive, and this round that is exactly the reason he wants to vote Har. Not sure if it means anything or not, or if I am reading into it. Just a thought. Why is it okay for Python to be inactive but not Har? As I said, I am not ready to follow up on it, nor am I suggesting anyone else does either.
If Har is not on, there is a reason; and I don't think it has anything to do with being a wolf. I've seen him as a human and as a wolf, he doesn't stop blathering (no ofense Har) no matter what his role.

Thanks for explaining your thoughts HABS. Personally, I hadn't made the connection you did, with Yeti. Something to consider, I suppose. This round though, I'm keeping my SPV vote. I don't want to take a chance and form a majority when I'm not really suspicious of Yeti, or anyone.

I said that he could be saved for a later round when we need an extra round. I wanted to protect PY because he usually doesn't show up some rounds, and he almost nearly gets shot or eaten in the first round. Plus, I'm a firm believer in everyone getting one vote during the first round unless evidence shows otherwise
