Every round, each of the wolves proposes a new law for the game, and the players vote for which one they want to implement. Wolves should get their proposed laws to me before the end of the day round, with discussion and voting on laws taking place during the night in a TB. Laws will be cumulative, until a wolf is shot, at which point any laws that they drafted will be revoked.

I don't want to set any limits on what the laws can be, but obviously they've got to be reasonable and not detrimental to the game (e.g. nothing that discourages activity). If I think a suggestion is unreasonable I'll send it back. They should also be accompanied by a couple sentences of explanation or justification to act as a kind of WTB-style psych.

Role playing as a lawyer encouraged, so Spider can impress us all with his jolly clever legal speak, and everyone else can be their favourite Suits character or something.

The mechanics of the game are not set in stone so if you have any suggestions, complaints or general abuse, fire away.

Please only join if you're confident you can be active - and I mean more than just an SPV and a couple brief posts per round. If the wolves can't get their laws to me in time the whole system will crash and burn.

And remember, it's just a game - a vote or suspicion is not condemnation of your way of life, and an attack on one's logic or reasoning is not akin to a personal attack.

You've found the fatal flaw in the system already.

Naturally that would be a law that I would deem "unreasonable", unfortunately I can't really think of a way of assessing what consitutes acceptable laws other than just my own dictatorial judgement.

Also, while wolves could propose laws that allow them TBs or outside communication or whatever for game discussion, I don't think they should be allowed to discuss their proposed laws in any circumstance, otherwise they could tie things up and force through whatever they want.

If you are going to stipulate what can and cannot be discussed in the wolf box (assuming they set one up) you should require that you be invited so you can ensure adherence to the rules

As we have a TB set up for the game anyway, I think general game discussion should be allowed there too (just so people have somewhere to post in the night), although no other outside discussion unless laws get involved.

Putter suggested we need a constitution, I propose two universal rights:

1) Freedom of speech (i.e. right to post as often as you like)
2) Right to bear arms (i.e. to vote)

Laws can stipulate how these things are done, but they cannot take them away.
