ROUND 4!
Sorry for the late start. I hope you all can forgive me.
Alternate Pscyh question:
Would you say The I.T. department of the London Offices of Reynholm Industries, The Scanton Branch of Dunder Mifflin, The Slough Branch of Wernham Hogg, or the WNYX News Room in New York City is the most productive environment? Why? The office environments in this question are from the television shows "The I.T. Crowd" (2006-2010), "The Office" (U.S., 2005 - 2013), "The Office" (U.K., 2001-2003), and "NewsRadio" (1995-1999), respectively.
Hint for Round 5 question:
The 1980 film "9 to 5".

i have put a vote on kittycat for now for safety.
@yuffie: i share your suspicion about izzie. waiting for what the others have to say, and will change my vote accordingly.
edit: again the memo seems to be coming from someone unfamiliar with the shows. they chose based on the location of the workplace, and not because of the merits or demerits of the mentioned workplace or any other such reason.....

The only reasonable remaining suspects are Izzie, buu, and JJ.
Izzie: Uses subject in sentences. Sentences do not start with a capital letter. Not much participation in game. Voted buu last round.
Buu: Very much the same sentence structure as izzie. Voted with majority last round.
JJPutz: Lives in NYC, and the boss mentions the city. Uses capital letters. Is not ESL as far as I know. Posted multiple times without provocation, a sign of being human.
I dont know how the boss is firing people. All the most active people in the game were on the firing list, and the boss chose to fire GA and blackest (who was probably a mandatory :/ ).
Unlikely to be elios but still possible.
Happy ever after in the marketplace, Desmond lets the children lend a hand. Molly stays at home and does her pretty face, and in the evening she's the singer with the band!

i am usually more active. i think most of you know that
someone very close to me became very sick and is in the hospital and i am spending a lot of time there
Ë™Çızzı(p) ¿y ahora? the new refrigerator came. If you need me, i will be playing in the box.

Voting custard, for they have flown under the radar for the entirety of the game.

Unless people were lying, JJPutz was cleared in the voting of Round 2. He could very well be RAT, but it very well could be Old Custard who doesn't know "American shows" but would choose the location to aim the blame elsewhere. The boss isn't supposed to lie, but s/he didn't say NY "b/c that's where I'm from" - anyone could want to VISIT NY.
JQPublic was fired, but look at what he posted last round:
Could be coincidence that he was fired after mentioning Izzie. As someone else pointed out, the Boss seems to be firing people in an odd manner... Blackest was mandatory and while JQPublic was pretty vocal in game, Green Apples barely said anything last round! He changed his suspicion from Buu to Blackest.
I would suspect Buu but he said
This could be a simple bluff tactic, but it could really backfire since a few people already suspect him...

I'm so sorry, Izzie! I will be praying for you and those close to you.
I have to go be productive but I'll definitely be back on. I'm safety voting for JJPutz - he was already cleared last round, so he's definitely not the boss, but I don't want to forget to come back on & be a mandatory
EDIT TO ANSWER PSYCH QUESTION: I've not seen the IT Crowd, but I would have to say WNYX News Room because they actually did put on their talk show every day, despite the goings-on off set. Both "The Office" shows didn't seem like they would meet their sales goals (I saw much less of the UK version than the US, but being that the US was based off the UK, I can take a guess as to their work ethic LOL)

Now that Blackest is shown not to be the boss, it's high time we considered other possibilities. What Izzie said about buu was not really valid, as Yuffie has explained, so I'm suspecting Izzie at the moment. What do you think?

if we dont win this round, why not try clear me next round? then you will get complete proof that i aint boss.

Sorry guys, I've been online but haven't posted. I don't know who the boss is, so there hasn't been much to say. I had thought it was Blackest_red, but apparently not. I'm going to vote Izzie.
I think GA was fired b/c we cleared him. JJPutz was cleared too but maybe he wasn't fired b/c he's the rat? I've not played many games with JJ but everyone thinks he's suspicious, despite being cleared in Round 2. Or maybe that's not why GA was fired but it would make more sense to me to fire the more active players... This is a really lose theory, but JJ has been going with the majority up until this round, when Buu/Izzie's names have been brought up.
Koin and I were "semi-cleared" back in Round 1 for being familiar with The Office. JJPutz was cleared due to voting. That leaves the following:
buu441
Elios
Izzie
kitty-cat
Oldcustard
I agree with Koin: It's unlikely to be Elios but it is still possible. She's creative enough to come up with a character-writing style, but I don't think she would come up with those answers to the questions...
Both Oldcustard and Kitty-cat have been playing to where I could see them being the Boss, but I'm not actively suspecting them.
ugh, my mind hurts >.< It sounds like the main suspects for everyone are Izzie and Buu. I'll vote for Buu441 right now, but it's really a flip of a coin for me at this point: if a majority swings the other way, I'll follow.

Dont think its kitty-cat, she doesnt seem like the kind of person who would copy from the website. Same with oldcustard.
Was JJ actually cleared in round 2?
Voting Izzie, I just cant connect buu to this rounds psych answer.

I'm not completely convinced it's Buu. He'd be taking a huge risk by inviting being cleared; no need to bluff out of the blue like he did. That said, I'd be willing to join a majority if it is truly a majority. We really have to work together. We could try the tactic of splitting up the votes and trying to clear based on firings, but that's risky - we might not get conclusive results.
I have a safety on Izzie now. I'll check back in after work.

Was JJ actually cleared in round 2?
Unfortunately, I don't think so. We didn't have a Boss/Rat-proof majority of votes, so we can't be completely sure we had enough votes to fire. The Boss was super-smart and didn't choose any optional firings, so we can't attempt a clear based on that either. It was a wasted round. I'm not completely convinced it's Buu. Oh, I see we had 7 votes on JJ out of 12, but you're right, discounting Boss & Rat that's 5/12; JJPutz isn't cleared =/
I completely agree. I know everyone's scared of being a lemming, but we literally cannot win if we don't get a majority of votes on the boss.
I'm glad someone else agrees on the Buu-bluff. I'm switching my vote to Izzie but I can be talked out of it.
(edit) VOTING:
Elios - Izzie
kitty-cat - Izzie
koin_era345 - Izzie
Yuffie - Izzie
buu441 - Kitty_Cat
Izzie - Buu441
JJPutz - Old Custard
Oldcustard
Izzie is 4/8. Buu441's vote for Kitty-Cat is a safety vote, so hopefully he will switch easily over to majority and Oldcustard hasn't posted his vote yet. Izzie really can't vote for herself & if JJPutz doesn't switch to vote majority, it'll certainly look like he's the rat =P *Is my peer pressure working? LOL*

Not switching to avoid lemminizing.

The Rules say:
Firing the Boss: The Boss must receive more than 50% of the votes to be fired.
To be more than 50% we'd have needed 6 votes to clear you without doubt. A few more than 6 would've been best, just in case there were some people who claimed to vote for you but didn't, either on purpose or just forgetting to confirm their vote switch.

The memos seem to be rather short, and the psych questions have rather strange reasonings. It really does sound like buu or izzie and I'm not sure, but I'll go with majority. Voting Izzie.
Izzie now has 5 votes out of 8 players: subtract two from both sides and that's 3/6

We cannot win the game w/o jeopardizing our own safety. At some point you're going to need to be a lemming otherwise, what are we even doing here?
Are you that worried that you'll be fired from the game - even when we thought you were cleared people still suspect you. Plus, the boss hasn't been firing the active players, so unless s/he finds you annoying, you're safe
I now strongly feel that JJPutz is the rat. Round 1 he voted with majority for GreenApples, Round 2 was our attempt to clear him, Round 3 he voted with majority on Blackest_Red but now suddenly he's refusing to join majority on Izzie? It doesn't make sense to me =/
But, unless someone comes on and changes their vote, this round will have been wasted & Izzie will not have been cleared
EDIT TO ADD:
Hmm, I'm confused now - I was reviewing the rules & Elios did quote correctly:
Firing the Boss:The Boss must receive more than 50% of the votes to be fired.
But the rules also said this:
One says "At Least" but the other says "More Than". that IS a big difference b/c the 5/10 vote on JJPutz was exactly 50% which is "at least" but is not "more than" (obviously ) This round, Izzie has 50% of the votes - if she is the boss, the game will end. Therefore, if voting for her (and JJPutz in Round 2) doesn't end the game, should that clear her (and JJ)?
I'm confused now... someone care to explain the rule discrepancy to me?

about the rule. It is at least 50. so if we get 5/10, we are good to go. we had the same doubts in earlier games, and it was clarified by some players and the mod at that time as at least 50.
