Sorry Jam, you got me instead.
random vote for now, because i am bored and i have to go.
I'm just gonna vote randomly this round, unless anyone has a better idea?
Think I'll go for random too.. I'll change if anything happens though.
Well, my first votes usually go to the ones who have not been on-site the longest. I counted 4 that were over 10 days. I think the one I have voted for is the longest off-site.

Random too.
As for inactives, I'm quoting myself again:
I now have an additional reason: inactives won't mind staying in the game if it turns out to be an inactive one. I've got nothing against jpost voting for an inactive, though, as long as nobody votes for the same inactive so that we get a real random.

As for inactives, I'm quoting myself again:
I think it's safe to assume that (blurry name) will not play. However, I don't think we should shoot him. If he's an inactibe[sic] wolf, then that's just as well cos he would not be dangerous, so he'd be the last we can shoot. If he were an inactive human, then that will only mean that we are decreasing the number of humans, which will not benefit us at the end.

I'd rather get rid of inactive because if it is a human, they're useless to us anyway and it's better than an active human who could help, and if it's a wolf then oh goody!! P.S oh it's alright mattie XD As long as you're active.
Edit: Going down the list, whoever the first inactive person is that I come across will be my vote for this round unless we aim for a majority

If you're just playing to win, leaving the Inactives is probably a good method. You have several good reasons up there, JQ! I've actually never really thought about the benefits of leaving Inactives before. You almost have me converted. Almost.
The reason I vote for Inactives is b/c it's not fair to the Actives. I mean, I joined to play and I want to participate for as long as possible. Why should I be taken out so that some "join & bail" player can stay in? Plus keeping Inactives kills the activity level of the game, and interest quickly wanes.
It's also not sporting. What challenge is there in playing a game where you're the only one left playing it?
So, unless people start to beg for mercy and flat out ask us to shoot them, I'm going for the Inactives. I don't want long, drawn out nights because of a non-playing Wolf, and I want good input and camaraderie from the other Humans.
Edit to add: Ugh, I just noticed braingle01 is in the game. What a waste of space.... Anywho! I put in a Seer protection vote for Roberto as he has been off for 8 days.

I see what you mean. However, I'm still against voting inactives strategically. If I, as a human, get shot in order to keep actives in the game and the humans win in the end, then I'll be very happy to get shot - I win in the end anyway. Difference in TWG values, I guess.

I personally prefer getting rid of inactives early just because I'm secretly afraid of this happening:
**dramatic music plays under horrifying scene**
Three or so active wolves manage to outnumber and control the vote over two active and 7 inactive town members. No matter how many inactives you add to this situation, the wolves will be able to control the game and pick off town one by one to a victory.

I'm joining the majority as well.
EDIT: As the round ends in 25 minutes, we aren't going to get a majority. Next round anyone?
