Who's The Boss

This game finished in 6 rounds.
Ok. My first loss as Boss. Still don't see why GA suspected me but good job and good game all the same.
Btw, the round 3 memo was an anagram of Adolf Hitler absolutely nothing.
The last one was sort of a book cipher leading to Isaiah 54:14 which says in a nut shell I don't fear anything.
Taxi was a joke because I fired caberet. Taxi cab.
Did I cover everything?
Shoot me I'm probably a wolf. Especially if caberet is the Mod.

Good game!
All day I kept thinking... I must be missing something. We have 6 people voting for Freak and 2 for Elios... only 4 would be needed to fire the boss and I really felt the rat was still in the game... SO, Freak was not the boss, because that would mean the rat voted for him. I tried to get home early to try and convince Tuku and J-Boy to change their vote, because even without them voting for Freak, if Freak was the boss he would be fired... but then I figured it would look too much like a rat trying to change the vote, so I just kept working!
So Freak... you want to be a chef? Good for you!
And by the way, I knew GA was not the boss because in round 1 after he voted, he was absent for 2 days... coming back after the "night" round, but leaving before it started... so he could not have sent the memo. My comments about Smeraldina is that as a game mod, she asked us not to look at time stamps. I mentioned this to Shadows, and she said it was ok to do so; but if I could hold off unless it became critical it would make the game more enjoyable. I concurred.
Good game Shadows... so now explain the boss clue please!

Actually randy, I always made sure to be sure everyone had logged in before I sent out the Memo so that wouldn't happen. Also, I said food critic would be fun. Trust me, you don't want me to be a chef
Btw Elios, just a tip for being Rat, the game would have gone very differently had you "voted" for me in round 3 or 4. That would have allowed me to fire you, making it look like I was cleared. You were on the firing list for me having a third of the votes.

You know, as I wrote it down to Shadows, I first had the process reversed, then corrected it... and wondered if that made it different. I first thought the boss does his thing and then the mod... which meant the boss had to fire and write the memo in the first 24... but after I wrote that, I said - no, its the other way around and corrected the PM to Shadows; but not my thinking internally that GA was cleared. Hey... at least I cleared someone who wasn't the boss in my mind - that has to count for something! It's been a while since I was the boss in one of these games!
And, just like I said before, 1 person being fired after voting for a person does not make for a cleared person. Mocha voted for me; I was not "cleared", nor would I try to promote that (but of course as an employee, having a majority vote is not really a problem unless we are getting down to the nitty gritty and voting for an employee almost guarantees the boss a win. GA basically was only cleared by people because on two rounds one person was fired... that eliminated the rat protecting boss vote; though someone actually forgetting to vote after stating their vote is usually a killer in close games.
First loss as boss? How many times boss? Ya know it had to happen

Very well-played, everyone! It was quite fun to watch.
Randy, freak sends the memo to me, and then I approve it. It means the Boss had to have been online up to 24 hours prior to the beginning of a new round, so GA having last logged in "2 days ago" made him a pretty conclusive clear.
The Infamous Boss Clue
The first riddle has three names. The second has four. The third has one. The fourth has none. The fifth has two. Put all the numbers together and you get 34102, which is freak's Tetris score.
Round 4
"Rosaurn" is an 1817 poem by some dude named Hauch. He died in 1872 on March 4. In YYYYMD format, that's 187234. Using my beloved alphanumeric cipher, where A=1, B=2, etc., 187234 = 18-7-23-4 = RGW4.
Another game, anyone? Or shall we spend some time recuperating? (EDIT 2: Stewie's game looks good. Think I'm gonna play.)
EDIT: If anyone is interested in knowing more about Nantucket... (reader discretion is advised)

Sorry, freak. I realized too late what was happening; didn't really seem that you were under too much suspicion, and I didn't want to obviously out myself as Rat. I've never really been Rat before as, when I am, the games never start. I've more experience now, so I'll do better next time!Good game, all.

You know Shadows, I do spend time trying to figure out the clues... I just don't always post what I am looking at. I looked at your clearing clue for me... DO YOU REALLY THINK ANYONE WOULD HAVE CLEARED ME WITH A DOUBLE ZINGER LIKE THAT? That would have been a better boss clue. My luck, I would have solved it and came up with RGWD and would have had no idea who was cleared!
It's one thing to find a date, but then to decipher it too? No way, no how.
I played in a lot of spy games on this site, we used a lot of the codes (I think we used them all, including the flag one)... but you know, the boss answers for this game just went over my head. Being busy doesn't help... but I think (no offense freak) I think using cypher codes for the answers should be limited to games where it is announced in advance (like a spy type game). I realize the rules allow it, just seems like limits should be considered by mods... one or two rounds, fine... but not everyone. Most answers mean very little anyway, though the boss does slip up sometimes and make errors like "going across the ocean to Germany" or similiar!
I was appreciating Sky's help in the first couple and was waiting for the next one... but silence came up.

Well this game could have been a lot shorter if people were just willing to trust me in round two.
Thanks for the game, Shadows!

Great game Shadows, I can't wait until your next.

Really great game! I was too busy distrusting RGW4 to really suspect anyone, so I think Freakshow & Elios did a great job And WOW on those clues, Shadows! They make sense NOW but I can confidently say I would have NEVER have figured them out
Great game. I would have liked to stay in it longer, but I felt it would help others if I were in a majority to clear a player. I knew the odds were that I would be fired - and boy was I correct!
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Great modding, and I thought the game was fun. It's nice to be back.
