Hello everyone,
It feels good to be back. After about a year of not playing Werewolf, I have decided to come back and moderate another Witch Hunt game! I have more free time now than when I left, so I will have much more time to come up with clues, and be an active moderator. I sincerely apologize for the lack of time I spent in my last game, and I hope to make it up to you all now. If you would like to join this game, but are not friends with me, please PM me and request entry.
Not sure how many of you remember me, but I'm sure at least some of you remember my Witch Hunt games. In Witch Hunt, the Seer is evil. The 4 werewolves are cult members dedicated to keeping the identity of the Witch a secret, and eliminate those who are close to discovering the Witch's identity. At the beginning of each round, a piece of the story will be given, in which there will be well hidden clues.
If you rightfully kill one of the cult members, a clue will be given towards the identity of the Witch. If you rightfully kill the Witch, you will be given a clue towards each of the cult members (including those who are already dead). Since I cannot prevent the game from ending upon killing all four cult members, we'll just say that with no support from the others in the village, the Witch is left powerless and is easily discovered and killed.
Each player will have an identity, or different role in the town which will be chosen before the game starts, so any identity can be the Witch or a cult member. With a few exceptions, the identities each have their own power, which will be PM'd to the player by me upon choosing the role. There will be a city council, which will be made up of three Council Members and the Mayor, who will have a talkbox, and will be able to make "laws" that affect the entire town. These "laws" will be minor changes to gameplay that can make things more interesting and fun. Mainly, the City Council is used as a discussion area amongst a few of the townspeople. Before the game starts, I will also choose three random people to be Witch Hunters. The Witch Hunters will have their own talkbox as well. These people may or may not choose to reveal their identities, but they will be given clues every round starting with the third round towards the identity of the Witch or the cult members. During the first round, the Witch Hunters will vote on who should be their liaison to the town, so they can communicate through me by way of the story. The liaison will be informed of their secret identity, and should keep it a secret. If the liaison is killed, the Witch Hunters will not be able to send secret messages in the story any longer. The Witch will also have a talkbox, where he/she can guess once per round the identities of the cult members. If the Witch is wrong two times in a row, he/she will not be able to guess the next round. If the Witch guesses right, the cult member will be added to the talkbox where they can discuss the game and come up with strategies. Every round starting at round 3, the Witch will be able to place a hex on someone instead of guessing the indentity of a cult member. What the hex does, is it will garble their messages. ie. I will go through and edit the messages a bit as they show up to prevent certain ideas or clues from coming through. A hex must be placed during a night round.
Depending on who gets executed or murdered, the story will change. If a certain character is no longer in the game, changes to the story will happen based on what would happen if that person had actually been killed in a village. For one basic example, if the mayor is killed, the towsfolk will hold an election for the next mayor (to be chosen from the council members). This could potentially work to the cult members' advantage, if the witch had discovered their identities and they were invited to the talkbox as they would then have more power. So use your imaginations and think things through!

I'm sorry; I wasn't amused because I never noticed anything amusing. So either it wasn't very funny (possible I suppose) or (much more likely) I simply didn't see the proferred offering....So what was your earlier concept?

I'm around, I was just being lazy all day and didn't bother to change it. Don't worry, I check Braingle at least thrice a day. I've also been preparing the story and role PM's for when the game starts so that we can get going very smoothly. The talkboxes are already set up and I'm just waiting for more people. Spider suggested we merge games, as both of us are in a bit of a bind for people. He said he's going to end his game and urge others to join mine, and in return I am suggesting his game for the end of this one.
Just as a note for today, if the game starts, I may not be able to post until 40 Mountain Time. I might be able to before. So just keep that in mind, and begin play as normal.
