Story
It is a cold, dark night, and the wind howls out of control. Your small village of only 50 has fallen quickly to only 21 people. The abrupt decline has been brought on by the presence of a Witch, and all the remaining villagers actively hunt for this murderer. As you search through the dark of the night for clues as to the Witch's whereabouts, you hear a scream pierce the air. You run as fast as you can in hopes of saving a life, but the villager is already dead, and the murderer nowhere to be seen. You see four sets of footprints, other than your dead friend, and know instantly that the Witch has drawn followers, devoted to killing or converting the heathens of the town. You stare in shock and disbelief, and a loud cackle erupts from the crowd of now 20 people, and you know the Witch and the followers are in your midst. For every four people, there is one traitor. You think... Who will you trust? Who can you trust? A raven emerged from the thick foliage around and dug its talons into the dead flesh. No one you can trust... Or can you? Only time, your wits, and cunning will tell.
Throughout the day, the villagers attempt to track down the killers. As they continually turn up less and less evidence, they grow increasingly angry, spitting vile remarks in the direction of the town's guards, blaming them for the attacks, commenting on their ineptness at protecting them and their town. By the end of the day, the villagers have worked themselves up to the point of unjustified murder, and kill one of the guards, Smithy, as he has seemed distant and unwilling to help the town. They soon come to their senses after blood has been spilled, and seem to feel terrible. As the daylight fades and darkness closes in, the villagers return to their homes, each hoping they would not be the next to die. The guard Captain makes her midnight rounds, and shady figures descend upon her from all sides. She is soon dead, and justice is forever gone in this town.
Two days and nights go by very quickly, with 4 more innocents killed. The numbers of the good are waning, and the cult is gaining more power. With no law enforcement, chaos runs rampant through the streets. The members of the village opted to kill the strangers, believing they had brought this curse with them. You think back to the raven three days previous, pecking the eyes from your fallen friend. Who could be true to your town? What hope have you?
The townsfolk point the gun at the local blacksmith, ready to pull the trigger. As they do, all they hear is a click and the gun does not fire. The blacksmith, fearing for her life throughout the day, rigged the gun so it would not fire. As you try to fix the gun, it unexpectedly fires, killing jubu, the local merchant. As the merchant collapses, the sky suddenly goes dark, and a sinister laugh fills the air. A dark, ominous shape rises from the body; the witch's spirit. You quickly erect a pyre, and throw the body upon it, hoping to kill the witch's spirit. You've finally killed the witch, and you are all now safe. You all return to the local inn for some dinner, and return to your homes, relieved it's finally over. Outside your windows, the light of the flames burns more brightly than ever. You hear a scream and rush outside to look. The body of the blacksmith lays before the pyre. The cultists are still active, attempting to avenge the witch's death. However, the witch is displeased, and as it's spirit dies, it utters hints to the identities of the cultists.

Ok, night timed out, again I really want to just shoot Dangerouspie, but since it's must lynch have to be patient.
deb is definitely a strange eating. I was leaning towards her being a wolf.
Game's still going, so we don't need confirmation of ICU's identity. But I'll still wait for an update from masoni.

Chunnie, I was thinking the same thing. Deb was one of the more suspicious looking players to me, also. At this point, Kajish and dangerouspie are two players that seem most suspicious to me. Kajish didn't vote last round even after stating that he would "go with [us all]". Dangerous Pie has been absent/not really involved. In my mind, ppjones is definitely cleared. He voted for ICUB in Round 5 as well as Round 6.
This is how I see the remaining players in my mind:
Kajish
dangerouspie
Chunnie
Ka-Ching
HarryPutter
Jayo
ppjones
WittyKitty
The ones in orange are simply ones that I don't know about. Jayo gave us the information to nail ICUB, so that gives him some credibility in my mind. (Although, I have seen wolves turn on other wolves in order to throw off suspicion, but I am thinking that since last round could've been "the win" for the wolves had an innocent been shot, then Jayo is most likely innocent. However, the fact that Jayo was not eaten gives me a bit of a queasy feeling, and I feel he should be watched closely, just in case he is a wolf and it was a ruse to get us off his scent). HarryPutter voted for Jubu (in and of his own accord) back in round 4. However, ka-ching had to switch her vote from Tonja to Jubu because of the gun being rigged, which is why I am still suspicious of her.

Hmmm... I find it odd that dangerouspie would vote for Kajish (Round 3) if both of them are wolves. It is possible, I suppose, that only one of them is a wolf, but the question would then be: which one? I am interested to see what others have to say this round, too.

The thing that annoys me, is that I see Chunnie and Harry as human (likely but not positive) That likely means at least 2 of the 3 wolves are inactive, which is bothersome. Nonetheless, the non-eating of Jayo is interesting but I'm less inclined to go after Jayo, (perhaps he got the clue more readily because he knew where to look) than a combo of ppjones/dangerous/kajish.
Basically, see yous tommorow I'll look at the clues a little more then.

I don't get why the wolves wouldn't kill you, ching

I'm not sure, we don't seem to be dealing with the attentive, focused type of wolves, besides I would think Jayo would be ahead of me in the eating line anyway.
Less than half a day left! If you don't shoot a cultist, you're all dead Try my clues!
Wow, most of the day has gone and nobody has voted!!
It is ful steam ahead at work - have not had a chance to be on since 9 this morning, but I expected at least a couple of votes or solid accusations
Have not been able to decipher any of the other clues yet, but I'll keep at them....if DP is a lazy wolf, then there won't be a pile onto any of the votes when the first vote is placed, need to think
Why have there been no votes yet??

Well voting Ching now, it's the only vote that really makes any sense
I'm thinking Ching, Witty and Jayo.

Howso
Jayo did the heavy lifting I just filled in the obvious after the fact, so I'm not sure why you have locked in on me rather than Jayo
Leaning toward Dangerouspie vote since it's getting pretty late and no one seems to have gotten anywhere on the clues. Im also tempted to look at ppjones, I don't think the wolves are the actives, maybe WittyKitty though.

I don't feel like I have a solid choice, only guesses.
The reason Gumby isn't smiling is because Deb is keeping him captive against his will.

Oh changing to Jayo then since it also fits in with that clue

Less than 5 hours left. This isn't looking good.
I'm still reading the Server as human, so unless someone finds a connection between her and one of the clues, I won't vote for her.
I find it interesting that the two least "active" players remaining in the game are the ones left in the council's talkbox. If they're human, they're wasting a valuable tool; if they're wolves, then they're playing it well - not being active means they don't have to pretend to be discussing the game, trying to find the wolves.
My feeling is that at least one of the two is a wolf. And dangerouspie seems more wolfish to me (I haven't played with her much to be able to tell, but I have played with kajish enough to know he doesn't contribute much, whether human or wolf.) So unless something drastic changes, my vote will be for dangerouspie. This being a do or die situation though, I'll wait a little longer to see if anyone comes up with a clue solution before voting.

Well I had a hunch last round that the first clue points to Jayo but it's pretty vague
I highly doubt dp is a wolf

Why not
I'm thinking pp is a better vote anyway

I've had to reconsider my ideas on the game thus far. Something doesn't add up.
I have to run to class now, so I've only got like 2 minutes. I think I was wrong about HP. Gahhh.... can't really explain it right now. Hopefully I'll have a chance to next round.
I think the wolves are HP, dangerouspie and WittyKitty. But of those, the one I have the strongest feeling about is dangerouspie. Good luck guys. We need this.

haha I'm gonna be done for the round too soon so I'll have to make a choice
I agree with Chunnie. Something doesn't seem to be adding up. Ching, why do you think ppjones is a wolf? He voted for ICUB in Round 5 when there was a chance for her to be shot. A wolf wouldn't have done that if they didn't have to.
I think that one of the inactives is a wolf. It doesn't seem like both of them would be due to dangerouspie's vote for Kajish. I am starting to wonder if Jayo and Ka-ching are the other two wolves. I know it's a long stretch, but they both seem intelligent. What if, in the wolf talkbox one night, they decided that Jayo should decipher the clue and rat out ICUB since she was inactive anyways? That way, they would both seem cleared (or at least one of them), and the chances of them both getting caught would be slim. I do think that ka-ching is one of the wolves. For some reason, her gameplay strikes me more as a wolf covering tracks. It doesn't add up that Jayo didn't get eaten after solving the wolf clue last round, either. I am going to vote for Ka-Ching. She seems most likely to be a wolf. After Jayo solved the clue last round, there's not much another wolf could do except vote for that player as soon as possible and hope to appear human.

Wait....the wolves have a talk box??
I don't recall that being mentioned....that changes my thinking a little.
I was almost convinced HP was a wolf, gunning for me in a LYLO round before I managed to solve one of the clues...nobody else bothered to solve one and it would be ridiculous for a wolf to make an unnessessary solve!!
If the wolves ARE communic&ting, can't see HP going along with such a ploy.
I do not understand why HP is defending the inactive DP though, night has consistently timed out...that might be aploy but, don't see how a human can be so sure...
LYLO, if there is a wolf tb, then I think HP is human despite everything, if there is no tb, then I dunno.
Still have time to solve another one...

Ah, this is what I was recalling:

So, I guess it would depend on how many wolves Jubu was able to guess? I don't know if it would still be an active TB or not, though, since it is technically the Witch's talkbox.

The Witch will also have a talkbox, where he/she can guess once per round the identities of the cult members. If the Witch is wrong two times in a row, he/she will not be able to guess the next round. If the Witch guesses right, the cult member will be added to the talkbox where they can discuss the game and come up with strategies.

Any cultist the witch was able to find would still be in the talkbox.
