Men (and women), we've all heard the myths that hang around the Bermuda Triangle. Some people reason the disappearances with blaming mythical creatures, secret portals, aliens, the cit of Atlantis, and more, but we know that it's a bunch of crock. And generally we let if go. A few fishermen lost in a storm- no big deal. But, men, in the last two months, six of our finest fellow agents have gone missing in this location.

We believe that it is the country of Genovia striking back about- well, you know what. We need to gather as much information as possible and eliminate the threat. We also have reason to believe that there are spies amongst our group, so be careful who you trust. We need to eliminate them before they ruin our mission. Fortunately, one of you is also a double-agent, but for their safety I can't tell you who.

Each new day I will give you ciphered information we have obtained. The first person to decipher it will be given valuable information (clue) in a private conference (PM). Unfortunately, since we do not know who to trust, we cannot share this information with others and the spies may also get valuable information.

The future of our country- or at least our country's secrets rides in your hands. Good luck, men. Let's get those guys!

As a 15 player game, I'm putting my money on this not starting until next week, so I suppose I will sign up now. Tuku, your game is just too tempting, and I trust you to be a good mod. Not to mention that I need to shake off my werewolf skills myself. I was jealous of you all playing and me just watching!

Question on the rules... Will we post the answer to the clue here, or PM it to you? Can we submit more than one answer?

Mocha! *tackle hug* I was actually reverse jealous of you. I loved mod-ing. I'm better at storytelling than analyzing.

On the rules... they can post the answer to the coded message here if they want to, but they cannot post anything about the PM I sent. Neither the clue nor the answer to it. I also will not post if someone already guessed correctly or who it was. If they want to reveal that they did, it is fine. But you also have to keep in mind that people can say the got it even if they did not... so it's like the seer (referred to here as the double-agent) they might say it's them but they could be lying or if theyre telling the truth, it could make them wolfmeat... or I guess dead-agents. Basically, as spies, you should trust no one and always be looking for strategies around things. You can keep guessing, but to keep it anonymous whether the clue has been solved and by whom, unless you are the first person to answer correctly, I will just respond with a "sorry."

I guess I should have explained that better. Does that make sense?

Oooof!!! * gets knocked over* (guess some things never change)

Yep. Thanks! I figured the answer would go one of a few ways. . I like this way.

I'm sorry to have made you reversely jealous. I was looking back at my notebook the other day, and in it I have record of my first 12 or so games, plus my notes on most of the games after that, and you were involved in quite a few! Remember the twilight game? With all the different roles and powers? Now, that was fun! I wish we could do something like that again, but those were a lot of work.

Yes, I was in the national treasure one as well. Were you in the x-men game? Or any of my HSD games? I know exactly how crazy they were.

So, hello everyone else, I don't think I know everyone here?

Who did the hero epi's? I got hooked on playing those. Really liked the chat room games. A little more freedom from this. Sounds like a good game and if it all goes well i will keep playing as long as its with some reunion players.

cool guy did the heroes games. That was the first game I played in the tb. It was fun to think outside the box. . Maybe we will have to do it again some time if someone with a subscription would loan us a box since I can no longer add people to the original box. (unless everyone who would play is already in the box).

Glad you could join us, nicats! I know what you mean about reunion!

Yes, I have! Sorry about the late introduction, I usually post immediately on joining but was distracted by a certain someone(s) xD
I think I know most of you, though some new faces.

Greetings Elios, watched your last game, that looked unbearably painful, especially for four day games, but so far, we have a pretty active group of people, so I am excited. We could use some more people though, of anyone is looking to join xD

ETA: I am also editing my post to respond to you, mochs.... I must be a spy! Though, I also marked my edit so, maybe I am not . Tuku is enthusiastic I joined, so, she must be my teammate too, maybe. Or maybe she is just awesome like that and too good to be a spy, or... Wait for it... Maybe she is the mod and needs good spies and thinks I would be a good spy? But that can't be it... Because I am too honest to be a spy. I think mochs must be the spy turning us all on eachother just before the game begins, very fishy... :nods enthusiastically:

And nicats, you must certainly keep playing, I need people to be a spy with me... Erm, to catch spies with me xD

I am way too hyper right now

This is only my second game of werewolf, but I hope I can last longer than my lst game, where I was shot because of my username in the first round

MrSly, I think that the people I know who are already in this game would not think of shooting someone because of their name. Now, because of their admission of being a spy, on the other hand, now that is a different story.

@Sly A lot of the regulars are still locked up in a game, also, a lot of people will not want to join an unlocked game unfortunately, still, we will get there!

Welcome Simba, you should talk, we don't bite... well, tuku maybe..., I see you are relatively new to Braingle, this your first game of Werewolf or have you played elsewhere?

Limerick, have you already forgotten your secret identity as a wolf? We all know that you are quite capable of munching on unsuspecting humans as you see fit.

But, really, it is nice to meet all the new people. If it is your first wolf game, this of us who have been around the block a few times would be glad to help. And we all promise to play nice. Well, except tuku, perhaps.

Now you're picking up on how this all works, Sly.

By the way, for those of you signing up now, I have every intention of shooting inactive people first, so if you are planning on being inactive, just know that it is not personal, it is just the way things go.

On that note, if I am a spy, and I find out a fellow spy is inactive, don't be surprised if I still suggest we shoot them.

*hates inactives*

I've enjoyed doing a little pre game stalking as well, limerick. To those of you for whom this is your first werewolf game, welcome. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Most of us are willing to help. For those of you who have been around the block several times, whom I do not know, I look forward to getting to know you more! Thanks to those of you who have taken the time to put together a wiki page or two about yourself, you seem like really neat people. I'm sorry I no longer have one, braingle ate it when I was away for so long. But if you want to know anything about me, just ask! (except limerick, he doesn't get to ask me any questions. He has used up his question allotment for the year. )

I'm anxious to see what kind of clues we get to help us bring down the spies. Oh, and limerick, there you go again claiming to be a spy. *shakes head*

ok, I'm here now, which means this game has reached the desperate level. Not as desperate as christiangirl's game, but since she won't friend me or even reply to my message about it, I have no choice but to let her game languish and join the next one, which surprisingly was the only other one in the list. How often does that happen?! I might be forced to host a game myself again. The horror!

@Mochs My quota for the year is up already?? Can I borrow from last year? I didn't get a chance to use all of that quota yet. And on that note, I really respect anyone with the patience to put together a wiki. It is a really cool idea, maybe I can make one some year...
I might, maybe, possibly be a spy! And at least you aren't rolling your eyes :p
@Tukus How in the world do you have the time to put together these clues, I have seen your schedule!

You know, if you don't want to play with us, you don't have to. We are not desperate, as you claim, and would rather have people play who want to be here than who "have no choice".

I agree, Mocha. Many of the people in this game are like family and I hosted an open game so that our family could potentially grow some. I want this to be a fun game with people who want to play with each other, even if that means we have to wait a little longer to start.

That being said, jpost, if you would like to stay in the game to have a good time and make new friends, then I am glad to have you. However, if you are here ONLY because you think we are "desperate" and the other game won't let you play, then maybe it would be better if you wait for the next open game. And maybe you should consider how your words affect others before posting them.
